Um...I'm gonna pick Dead Rising. I don't have a lot of third person games at the moment. Mainly first person and racing games.

Mercenaries 1 on PS2. God that was fun.

Gears of War 2 or Assassin's Creed. Gears 2 had a great story, fluent gameplay, and the ability to chainsaw people. Assassin's Creed had an open world, fantastic story, and combat/stealth sequences that flowed fantastically and were quite fun.

Assassin's Creed...yes sure it has lots of flaws but it's a very good game
