This sweetheart will protect you with her life. All of my D'aaw and all of my hugs. That and the fact that she oneshots everything.

Yet, I'd have to go with Dialga as my favorite. What's not to like about a Dragon/Steel type that has control over time itself?

I must agree. Mewtwo is the reason I started playing Pokemon to begin with. He's practically the Pokemon version of Bret Hart: the best there is, the best there was, the best there ever will be. Only, you know, minus all the physical deterioration.

Favorite? Well i like to think my favorite is both my in game pokemon and real life one. That is to say if they were real which wouldnt you mind having. (example i dont want gengar he will eat my dreams,)

I havent played past pokemon crystal all those years ago but my favorite since my first pokemon game (pokemon yellow) its always been kadabra. Powerful S.Attk stat so hes a powerhouse. He can learn recover, replenishing half his hp. If your attakcs dmg more than half so that he cant recover fast enough he has barrier to shield from P.attks and reflect for S.attks.
Sure this means he only has one attack (probably psy beam since u can cast it 20 times). But hes an attrition master just as a tactician should be. He has that chinese tactician mustache so...tactician.

You can choose not to build him that way and just keep all his attacks and hes still great.


An important feature for me however is, were pokemon real hes not a bad pokemon to have. He woudlnt electricute you, he wouldnt eat you in your sleep. He's intelligent like a person and communicates to you telepathically. He sees the future so he will have all kinds of things to tell you. At worst you will have to keep replacing your spoons and forks.

So I've recently gotten back into Pokemon after a long break from it. Blasted through Soul Silver and now starting on Pokemon white. So I got curious as to what pokemon other people really like.

For me it's Shinx and it's subsequent evolutions. It looks pretty cool once it gets past the obligatory cutesy stage in its art, has solid moves and stats, and was generally in my party for the entire game when possible.

Also if anyone has recommendations for Pokemon I should try to get or keep in my group for Pokemon white, since I'm still early in the game it would be appreciated!

Well my favorite Pokemon is Groudon because he's such an effing beast.

As for a reccommended team, I'd suggest catching a Joltik in that electric cave, which isn't that far ahead. It's evolved form, Galvantula, is bug/electric, and has a very impressive speed stat.

You could also get a Roggenrola, which takes a while to train, and his final form involves you having to trade, but his final form Gigalith is a tank.

My favorite will always be THE pink copycats I'd like to call Ditto and Clefairy. Now if only Kirby was a Pokemon.
