For me it has to be Parasite Eve, Resident Evil 2 or Dino Crisis. I adore those games, got them all for christmas a year ago and beat them all within two months.

But my other favs are Twisted Metal 2 or Crash Bandicoot. Digimon 3 comes to mind too because I was addicted to that.

Mine wooooould have to be Crash Bandicoot Warped, or maybe Digimon world 3 (>_> Don't judge me!)

DMW3 is soooo good! I still haven't beaten it, though. Game's hard as fuck. Or maybe I'm just bad.

Anyway, my favorite PSOne game has been and always will be Spyro: Year of the Dragon. It's just the best. Crash Bandicoot Warped comes in second, and probably Tekken 3 after that.

gotta be populous: the beggining, rts on the ps1 made by bullfrog, where peter molyneux was a genius instead of a lunatic, used to love sending my little villagers about and then doing a massive assault on the enemy, still have the game on my laptop, so simple but awesome at the same time

I'd have to say Grandia.

While I admit that it's the only PS1 title I've played (and it was on the PSN), Grandia is also my answer. Would be great if I had actually beaten it, though. Gonna go for a second run if I get the chance.

my favorite ps one game had to be Syphon Filter 3 such an awesome game its a shame that all the other games in the series SUCK but damn that game was awesome except the third mission which i hated
in second would have to be the European/American version of ace combat 3 electrosphere it was the first game i 100% completed and that game on the hardest difficulty screwed me over for far too long but that could have something to do with the fact that i was like 7 at the time

I really liked the Syphon Filter 1/2 and haven`t played 3. What`s wrong with the other ones?

My vote goes to Tenchu. To me it was the first ninja game done right and i prefered it over MGS. I had the the normal and the japanese edition and it really makes me wonder why not more games use a changeable layout setting (changing of enemy position and routes) since it extends the playtime a lot.

I gotta say my favourite was spyro, as well as being the first console game i ever played it was also one of the only PS1 games that i did play. it had a sense of humour, a decent(if not slightly random storyline)and some simple gameplay as well as the odd minigame. Although, I could never get the memory card to work and consequently had to start over evry time I played .Honourable mention to crash bandicoot 3.

XenoGears, a real solid RPG game with an awesome story and interesting characters, but sadly the second disc got made into a episode:ish story narrative.. just so SquareSoft could focus on FF7... damn them for that..

Think it's on US PSN, no love for Europe.. sadly.. But I still have my import copy

The Legend of Dragoon. God,that game was all sorts of fun. The combat actually had an element of player skill,too. Want to attack? QTE to extend a combo. Want to use an attack item? Button mash for bigger damages. Went Super Mode,and want to attack? An even HARDER QTE than normal mode attacks,with a spectacular payoff. And then there's the story,which is pretty damn boss.
