Hark, A Vagrant! by Kate Beaton.

Anthropology, history, literature et al. Beaton can handle the lot.
She's just that awesome.

SMBC, Sweet bro and Hella jeff or What do you do.

I've been reading Homestuck, but it got too complicated to be worth the effort, and xkcd, but then I realized that it's terrible and stopped reading.

Nerd³! The minecraft adventure webcomic. Slight bias as I write it but whatever. :p

Apart from that there is the obscure yet wonderful Blank it,
http://blankitcomics.com/

The hilarious Akward Zombie
http://www.awkwardzombie.com/

And probably my favourite... Doghouse diaries.

You deserve a medal, Doc, for mentioning Doghouse Diaries.

My favorites:

Raven's Dojo
http://www.ravensdojo.com
(18+ for crude language, violence and sexual content. Not very safe for work.)

Sore Thumbs
http://sorethumbs.keenspot.com/
It's just... crazy.

The Perry Bible Fellowship
http://www.pbfcomics.com/
Really good stuff.

The Fancy Adventures of Jack Cannon:
http://fancyadventures.com
It's amateurish but endearing.

Dresden Codak's works
http://dresdencodak.com/
Amazing art.

Breakpoint city:

Time travel and talking dogs. It's been going on for years now.

I know of some more, I just can't remember them right now.

Some awesome new comics to add to my repertoire here.

http://deadwinter.cc/ for sure.. a great artistic style and narrative with this one.
Same with this one: http://www.abominable.cc/

http://thisisindexed.com is along the lines of XKCD..

along with the usual fare of XKCD, Giants, Questionable, PA, etc etc...

On the reading list at the moment, from left to right along the tabs:

Girl Genius
Schlock Mercenary
Looking for Group
Freefall
Goblins
Order of the Stick
Erfworld
FreakAngels

Of those I'd say that Erfworld and FreakAngels are the best. FreakAngels has the advantage of being by a professional comic writer, Warren Ellis.

I am kinda surprised that no one posted about Digger >> http://www.diggercomic.com/ (Even if it's finished it's one of the best fantasy-webcomic i read ...)

Anyway i have quite a load of Webcomic in my bookmarks but Digger is a fan-favorite.

Edmund Finney's Quest to Find the Meaning of Life @ http://eqcomics.com/ is another cute one with the punchline in a mouse-over.

Ugh - there's a new webcomic that came out not too long ago with artwork in the style of a graphic novel and ran by three people. However, for the life of me I can't remember what's it called. I think it was a single word... All I can remember is the big, full page scene in a board room...

Kudos to anyone who can identify it from THAT poorly-worded description....
