Whats your first race/class combo in Skyrim going to be?

Khajiit Thief or Harlot would be my choice. Thief would be your standard run-of-the-mill sneaky stealy type character while the Harlot option would specialize in the non-combat skills to milk NPCs for all the gold and items they're worth.

Just as a side note: my Morrowind installation, according to the 'Add and Remove Programs' menu in XP, is around 20 gigs in size. Mods are fun.

Breton male, first preset (uppermost left) with tweaked nose and brown hair, name probably "Eylian", and jack-of-all-trades archetype. If star signs influence anything, probably either The Lady or The Thief.

(I swear, that preset looks so much like me, it's uncanny)

Nord, axe and shield, using a bow when necessary. Magic is for cowards and weaklings, I do my talking with steel

A Dark Elf. I'll figure out class as I play. I hate the RPG archetypes. I'll probably be less of a combatant and more of an Alchemist, though. I've very interested in Alchemy in these games. I'll let my potions do the talking. :)

Khajiit thief/assassin.

I want to make use of the increased number of stealth mechanics, the much improved archery, and assassinations. And Khajiit are awesome.

orc or nord with the two biggest freakin hammers I can find. I'm talking "I can't see who I'm bludgeoning cause my hammers are in the way" big. and super heavy anti-dragon tank armor so I'm occasionally mistaken for a refrigerator.

Nothing.

Going install game, then sit and wait patiently until the Skyrim version of the Corean Race Mod and possibly the Chocolate Elf race mod, then play my ninja assassin.

Or I might be convinced to play earlier if Bethesda has learned how not make all their female characters look like they got hit by a truck.

Spent 400 hours on the 360 version, then played the PC version with one mod and couldn't look at the vanilla characters without being overwhelmed by their suck.

Like I said in another thread, just like this one(wink, wink);
Gonna make my first char the same as my standard char was in Oblivion. A Redguard who fights with a sword and a shield. After seeing the gameplay footage I'm very intrested in trying out a mage for the first time ever in the ES games, however.

I may try a straight warrior this time around, I always play sneaky assassins in RPGs and I want to do something different.

Given the whole setting, and the shouting mechanics, I think it's damn near impossible to not be a Nord.

Everything I've seen so far basically screams "The Elder Scrolls V: Vikings!"

I dunno the race yet.

But I do plan on using as much Necromantic magic as I possibly can.

I always play a sneaky Dunmer archer, so a sneaky Dunmer archer it is.
And he's always named Enigma, 'cause, yeah, that's fucking imaginative, right?

I was initially thinking maybe a Nord character split 60/40 heavy combat (plate armour, battleaxes) / summoning magic, but thinking about it I'll probably go with a Dunmer character split 60/40 destruction magic / light melee (chainmail, sword). Just to represent Morrowind and really stick it to those primitive Nords when a Dunmer saves all of their frozen asses. Plus innate fire resistance could be kinda helpful when facing down a giant fire-breathing lizard.

Probably end up with a Khajit.
And yes the familliar travelled road of sneaky stabby stealy things.

Nothing is more fun then to plunder a home that someone just left.
Or an Argonian caster in thick plate armor. I always liked their under water breathing things.
That and I want an army of mini lizzards in heavy armor murdering everyone.

Oh that just gave me an idea. WHy not go for a ringleader of bandits. We can now have companions so why not. Okay so a gang of 2 bandits. Hey I gotta start somewhere right? :p
Once we beat the main goal the story goes we establish -the- ring of bandits. Though I wonder how many people I can let tag along.

and here comes the fun part. They are not -just- firebreathers ;)
There's also ice and probably other elements. Of that I am certain to put down coin on.

Oh, I think we can trust Bethesda to be quite traditionalist when it comes down to things like that:

Besides, that was really my secondary reason for picking a Dunmer. Even if the slopes of each and every mountain are swarming with ice dragons it'll still be worth it to humiliate the Nords by having a Dunmer rescue their kingdom.
