Most of the gamers I know are achievers then. They beat the game first, then play it the ''100%'' route.
Yeah, I think it's common. But to be fair, the test is aimed more at MMOs, where there are other motivators. The categories are Achiever, Explorer, Socializer, and Killer. Socializer and Killer don't really apply to single player games.
What if the game is designed only for killing, like DooM or Painkiller?
Well, there is a difference between killing PCs and killing NPCs. I guess it depends; are you playing the game because of the challenge, or because you like to watch things die?

It would depend on how the person felt, but I feel it's a 50/50. Although people who play for the challenge online are everywhere, they still play yo kill the other guys at the same time don't you think?
Yeah, you're right. Apparently 60/40 for me:

I just got confused. ;) It's not about the killing, it's about proving your superiority.

I rush my games when it actually rewards me for doing it.

Like Resident Evil Remake on the Gamecube: finish it in under 3 hours on at least the normal difficulty setting with no health sprays used (reliance on herbs instead) to get the infinite rocketlauncher. It's best to attempt the run only after 2-3 playthroughs ...cuz by then you have memorized the layout of the mansion, the positioning of the enemies and the location of important items.

There's an actual quiz for that? Wow. :)
Lol, I linked it in my first post. Plus, what do you expect? This is the internet. There's actually six psychology tests on that site.

Naturally, as an achiever, I had to take them all. :D

Speed Run are a way to extend the life of a game, especially for people who don't play many.

AND LEADERBOARDS!

I like to take my time in games at first,
but after Ive beaten them a few times I like to do a speedrun or "no healing" run or "only this weapon" run or something like that.
makes the game a little longer.

I never do speedruns myself, but I enjoy watching them as long as they're done like this:
