60.000 views on a Youtube video.

WHAT DO YOU THINK??
Is the video of you, or do you just host it? Because the panda sneeze video has millions of hits, but I dobt many people could name the guy who posted it...

I used to make crappy Naruto videos and got over 2000 subscribers somehow, but then my account was deleted for using copyrighted music, and I never bothered to find the files and reupload them. That was the closest I got to internet stardom.

Nothing, really. I tend to become quite friendly with well-known users or moderators in various websites I've frequented in turn over the years. Never been given any kind of mod position, though. But then this is probably the first website I've frequented enough to feel like I could do such a thing.

In any case, I was never a fan of making Youtube videos, though my friend has ideas for things that never take off every month or so, and usually attempts to recruit me... as for blogging websites like Tumblr, I'm too inactive in my day to day life for that to be any good. I tend to amaze people by using my novelist skills to ad-lib movie plots. For instance, on Omegle, in the question mode, we were asked to roleplay two lovers, and so rather than disconnect, or give the weirdo what he wanted, I just went from there and started riffing and turned it from a love story into a psychological thriller. The other stranger was very impressed.

I'd say I'm good at it, but I never garnered any sort of real notice.

I've made mods =)

Downloaded over 5,000 times from one mirror alone.

Also used to make MP skins, when that was still a thing you could do. Shame you don't see this feature in newer vidja games, used to enjoy being "kustom". Yeah, hats are fun, but unless you're Notch level famous, you're never going to get one that's just yours =\

I was a author on a website that has since removed all the articles from the site. In terms of user comments, I wrote the most successful article on the site, clocking in at 190 comments.

Other than that, no.
Can I ask what the article was about?
You may.

...

Oh, you wanted an answer?

It was about the Brony sub-culture and I went into a long diatribe against it.
In that case I can understand the amount of comments it recieved o_O
Yes. One person compared me to the Nazis, another told me to shove a scorpion up my privates, and another still told me I was going to hell. Fun times, fun time.s

I'm only known around here. And mostly it's just on the pony user group.

I was also pretty well respected on my old WoW server for being the guy that knew everything. But those days are gone, and I don't wana go back.

Currently non-existent. I'm starting to write some stuff and hopefully I'll get some writing up on Fanfiction or Writing.com soon. Then I'll strike internet-fame gold amongst the pretentious literary types.

I have got a reply from Gav (Miracle of Sound) on a Youtube video which was later deleted.
I also had the same idea as a guy who ninja'd me by 10 minutes and got a reply by Graham of LRR.
Got two lol's on ICHC front page.
I've 20 views on my Youtube (And an extra 180 from videos I made when I was bored[and more mentally unstable] and deleted , but those don't count)
And that's about it.

Once upon a time I created a video tutorial (2 parts, 2 videos) for a video game on the computer. I posted it to Youtube. Over 6 months it got 240,000 views (my next highest has only about 3,400: so it's like my one-hit-wonder).

I believe it's because I chose good search tags and my video was one of two available at the time (that I could find) covering that particular subject. Mine happened to be better and have more detail than the alternative. Even so, the video I made was of really really low quality. Bad sound, quiet sound, and visually stagnant.

Now that the method in the video is out of date, I have removed it from public listings, so I'm not getting anymore hits. I also have 95 subscribers who have forgotten I ever existed.

I'm anonymous to virtually the entire internet today.
