No clue, though I've always received great standardized test scores. I got a 38 on the MCAT.

Also, IQ tests is the best indicator of how good a potential employee will be. Unfortunately they're racist or something so they're illegal for hiring decisions.

Hey mods, not that one would ever desire to sound even partially maleffected by the probation, but my previously mentioned statement to the effect of saying my IQ score is irrelevant was actually adding to discussion, you see I was noting the fact that a large proportion of people then proceeded to note that IQ tests are, in fact, of very little psychometric value even when professionally administered. You essentially probated me for not being excessively verbose, which I am now going to great pains to rectify as I'm sure you'll agree since this post is about..... every single word longer than it needed to be to convey the meaning, but you know what's wrong with just making a point once in a while without spouting 4000 words more than is neccessary?
Inb4 ban for talking back even though I have a valid point.

170 is well above genius level. As a rule 100 is constantly updated to represent the average. 70 and below is considered retarded.

Wow we appear to be pretty much the only two people here who aren't a) geniuses with the world at our feet but can't be bothered to take advantage of the wonderful gift of an IQ so high one can earn large amounts of money utilising said gift.

What a suprise there is such a strong correlation between a very high IQ and laziness, it is almost as if people are deeply insecure liars. Still I suppose that is what the internet is for (that and looking at naked women being degraded.

I just realised I put 170 not 70, oops :/
And yeah, I've seen that - a load of people that are such genius's, but hey, there just isn't a way for them to show it....

IQ is the mearing of how good your brain is on completing different tasks, mostly logic thinking(wich is different for everyone). So even if you have 60 wich is below "normal" it doesent tell you how smart you are in genaral.

I've done several tests, but no real IQ test(wich is expensive as someone mentioned) i have gotten scores between 86-116 wich i interprit, that i am "normal".

I refuse to take the test. I don't like subscribing to the idea that your IQ determines how important you are in relation to others.

That's just my perspective.

The very reason I chose not to take the test from MENSA a while back, (there was a science expo on and they had a booth.) Intelligence can not be measured objectively and certainly not with a series of ambiguous questions based around english, maths , and pattern recognition

I took one as a kid and from what I recall, I scored a bit above average.

....but I have ADD, and have a lot of trouble concentrating, so it balances out. :s
