mine was networking until i realized how much i hated the classes. i like working on computers, but i dont want to end up working at Best Buy or something like that for the rest of my life. so now i dont have a clue as to what i want to do,
Dude, I started out pre med, had a life changing situation with a relative in a hospital and i left that to study computer science, but all the numbers were making me emo so i switched to law, i did good but it bored me, then i switched to english education, it bored me to no end, so I ended up going back to my true passion, which is medicine. So my advice to you, apart from dont do what i did, is to sit down, and just figure what it is in life that you cant imagine not doing, my moment came during my practice as an OR Tech in a hospital asisting in an amputation, once the surgeon sawed the leg off and i had it in my hands, I was like this is it, this is what i want to do with my life.

I started out as Film Major with emphasis on screenplay writing and production. Then I changed it over to Mass Communication with emphasis on Electronic Media and Broadcasting. (graphics, photography, marketing, etc).

I'm a Film and Television student. In coming years I'll be majoring in video editing and minoring in either lighting tech or writing. (Probably the former - more jobs)

Engineering Computer Science. That said, when I transfer from my current school to a more. . . reputable one I suspect I will likely attend quite a few courses outside my graduation plan. Somewhere between high school and college (and I believe this was the period known as "being a sucker in the army") I found that I actually enjoy learning about quite a few things. Besides, the liberal arts professers are usually the most entertaining.

Its good fun!
Hey, that's like my major, except the music I play isn't popular.....

Boring music performance major here.
Neato!

What kind of music then? I've only ever seen Jazz, Classical or Popular so I'm guessing its Jazz or Classical?
Classical is mine.

Obviously this question is directed to people in college, just trying to get a feel for the type of people that visit these forums, education wise. Im Pre med, soon i'll move on to med school where hopefully i'll get a chance to become a doctor and specialize in surgery.
Likewise, although the recent discovery of a knack for chemistry has me looking at a possibility of Biochemistry.

The main question I've been asking myself is: "Do I want to help people immediately on the operating table, or do I want to help people in the future with research?"

Aside from that... there's a lot of fame a glory to be had in research if my name is attached to the next huge breakthrough in medicine. I wants it.

Who doesn't? :D

Majoring in Political Science. Possible double major with History. Possible hope of going into law school afterwards.
