Heights. I hate not being on the ground or on a stable paltform that doesn't move up and down. That's why I don't get on many rides at the state fair.

Lakes/Rivers/Oceans. I was stung my a massive jelly fish when I was seven only yards from the beach. It was the third worst pain I have ever felt, and it lasted for a week. I have yet to forgive ANY aquatic life since then.

Spiders.

On the monday of this week, the night before my driving test, a huge spider disappeared underneath my bed. I spent half an hour searching and waiting for the bloody thing to reemerge but in the end I had to sleep downstairs on the sofa...

or to put it more precisely I'm afraid of falling.
im sure phobias are things you're scared of that cant hurt you. like clowns or spiders that dont kill you if they bite you, falling to yer death aint exactly something anyone would be enthusiastic about or enjoying unless they like pain.

me? moths, those fucking ugly dust flapping litte shits are huge and they fly around your face those fuckers and it puts me on the edge.
No I meant that being afraid "of heights" is a misnomer.
The correct term is being afraid of falling, as it rationalises the phobia to others.

I severely doubt that people who suffer from this phobia are afraid of looking at skyscrapers, because I sure as hell am not.

Moths don't really bother me that much, but if there's a wasp in the room, in definetely on edge.

Large, empty open spaces. I mean REALLY large. Stadium-size.

It feels like I will begin to fall upward without anything to grab on to.

First of all, is your Caps-lock key broken or something?

Second, I'm guessing that you love dogs. But I simply don't, get over it. If you would say... ''I hate cats'', I won't hate you for it.

Spiders. God damned spiders. Even the small ones invoke the screaming girl inside of me, if they get too close. The big ones, well.. I don't usually stay in the same 20meters with it for long. Or, if I can manage it.. Purge It With Fire or a Sharp Object with Reach.

Also, claustrophobia if it deals with my legs being contained/restrained. The arms tend to be alright, otherwise.

Same here. There was a cricket in my stairwell the other day. I don't know where it was, but I could hear it. Took me 10 minutes to go all the way down the stairs for fear it'd jump out and grab me or something.

He was joking, Henky. I'm fairly certain it was obvious.

Snakes - damn I hate and fear them, even from the not poisonous really small ones. They should just vanish from Earth :)

My phobia is spiders and one of my worst encounters with them is when a huge one appeared in my bedroom at 2am, when I was not able to call for help. I just couldn't sleep with a spider in my room so I stayed up the whole night shaking and crying on my bed, just watching it, it stayed on my ceiling so I couldn't kill it.

I have a recurring fear of very dark places. I tend to hallucinate a little and not being able to see reality doesn't really help that case.

Threefold. First off, I have minor acrophobia. That's not to say I freak out anytime I'm up high. But if I'm not seated and strapped in, I feel very uneasy, even if I'm only on a pier or something, looking between the planks of wood.

Secondly, and I am a bit ashamed to admit it, I do have coulrophobia. What is that? Fear of clowns. Blame IT and the freaking haunted house maze at Magic Mountain's Halloween themed set-up I went through at the age of 9, themed around the Joker.

Finally, I am uncomfortable with mirrors in dark rooms. Just something about seeing the shadowy figures moving in the mirror out of the corner of my eye...*shudder*

Phobia of not trusting anyone but yourself when it comes to driving . Seriously , I get chills when my friend decides to give me a lift . Must have something to do with the fact that he lost his licence two times.
