History. Almost all fiction work I can't stand, but I can't get enough non-fiction books or stop researching everything. I can name pretty much every world leader from the past 2 centuries, name their place and date of birth, and name their parents as well. I aced my history tests in high school without studying at all. I suppose all of my historical knowledge will come in handy later...

Honestly, I think I'm more atypical by omission. I'm not exactly into a lot of things a young woman my age would be into, like facebook, sex and trashy teen shows. Though I do like HGTV and cooking shows 'n such, so my interests other than general nerdiness are a bit old.

We share the same strange interest. Ever since last summer when a current sent thousands of small purple ones to our local beaches I've been consumed! I don't understand how something can terrify, disgust and fascinate me so much at the same time. And it seems everything I learn about them magnifies every one of those feelings.

Well they are quite lovecraftian and alien-looking after all. And some species actually sting you (showing a hostile side) so I guess I can see why they could terrify and disgust but still fascinate.

Thank you for your answers. Honestly, I study behavior. Extreme behavior interests me. "Why do people do the things they do", is a question that I must answer. When I first saw the offensive page of encyclopedia dramatica, my first thought was: "Why?" Why do people engage in deviant sexual behavior? This is why you'll sometimes find me watching porn and taking notes. Bestiality is something that I must research more thoroughly.

I am almost a complete slob in my bedroom at my parents house but put me living with someone else or put me in a work environment and I am obsessive compulsive about how clean it HAS to be. Also, all my DVDs, music, video games, and books are either in alphabetical order or chronological order(depending on what you are talking about). The DVDs are in order alphabetically and arranged as: TV shows, Anime, Comedy, Music Videos, Sci-Fi, 80s films/cult films, Classical films/based off classical literature(Anna Karenina etc), Musicals, Rogers and Hammerstein Musicals, Chick flicks, Horror(I felt the need to put romance and horror next to each other), and then Action/Adventure. And yes, they HAVE to be in that order. My books are arranged by Author, series(which is what I mean when I say chronological order), and type of book(literature, fiction, sci-fi, fantasy, romance(hey i have to have my smut and its only one series), non-fiction, historical, biographies, auto-biographies, and I THINK that's all the classifications of books I have). Cds are in order alphabetically...or will be when I find them all and then put them onto my itunes. Video Games are in order by system and then alphabetically by game.

I'm still working on my books cause I still have to find all of them but most of them are in this order. And it bothers me when my friends don't have their music, books, video games, films organised. I get compulsed to organise their collections. And HAVE done so to a friends video games.

EDIT: Oh and I like to people watch and laugh at all the kids who think they are individuals but all act and dress the same.
