A zombie apocalypse would never get off the ground, diseases don't travel well through bite, dogs, birds, and other animals would kill all the zombies if there were too many, the national guard has great response time, and quarantine would be extremely effective.
if somehow none of that happened I would just get my crowbar, my katana, and my rifle then head to the hardware store by my house and seal myself in until help arrives.

so id make my way to the engine shop they have their, stock up on melee weapons and steal my Auto teacher's awesome moter bike (hes probly dead anyway), wait outside and call all family members, after that i just keep moving along with whoever picked up their phone and keep heading north until i hit canada

and it has a very low population density less people, less zombies

Gather my friends/family and our guns/swords/knives/etc. My one friend's dad works as the guy that drives those armoured trucks that transport money between banks. We get the fleet of six of those, drive to a safe place with food and supplies, and wait it out.

Its not that hard really. Maybe I have things going for me, but zombie attacks arent too scary. you just need some common sense.

Geography lesson!

A. It's only cold in northern central Canada, and mostly during the winter.
B. The mountains are on the Alberta/B.C. border, and pretty much no where else.
C. It's quite dense in the cities, where all the supplies are. There's just fewer cities.

I was going to say "Wait for the military" before I remembered I'm in Canada... So wait for the hockey teams to come through. The zombies will learn fear in the face of our zambonies!

Somebody above said wait until they fill with natural gas and blow them up. I like that plan, not only because it involves gas, but it involves fire.

Actually, now that I think of it, there's enough crime around here that the criminals would probably make the place safe... and the police, for that matter, I've seen the number of guns they've been confiscating.

Run to the grocery store that's 20 seconds away and gather up a shitload of food, drink and alcohol.

Run to the gunshop that's 3 minutes away and grab a shitload of guns. Lock, stock and two smokin' barrels.

Shove a shitload of crap infront of the front and backdoor of this three storey building I share with 9 others. Make sure they're dead, steal their freezers and stuff them with food and drink.

Connect my laptop to my stereo so that when I'm sitting on the roof with an icecold beer and a 30.06 rifle I can hear LET THE BODIES HIT THE FLOOR! play out fucking loud while repainting the streets with brainmatter.

2. Grab all of the supplies gathered and any entertainment I need.
3. Spend a while in my basement living life.
4. When I'm out of food I'll walk outside and do a death run.
(Why try to be safe when it's you can have a little fun in the zombocalypse, after you run out of supplies of course.)

I'm in Alaska so I will do nothing. We have tons of hunters here so we'll be pretty stocked up on food and we will still have factories. I'm no expert on thawing zombies but I'm pretty sure they would fall apart in the thaw.
