A while ago I saw a few reviews of Torchlight, and as Diablo III has been delayed again, I decided to try the demo on steam, and ended up getting the full version. So far I've build a melee DPS, a Ranged Caster, and a Ranged fighter, and am now working on my tank. Well, that would cover all three classes, yes? No, so far I've only been playing alchemist, and haven't even made either of the others. Lore tree for ranged fighter, Arcane for caster, and battle for my Dual-wielding tank. When one class can cover all the types of play, I feel the others, although they have different skills become slightly redundant. My main point here is simply, When one class can do everything, at what point do the others become little more than spectacle?

Also, I believe torchlight may be a factor in D3's delay. When blizzard heard of it, chances are they took a look at it, and said, "Uh oh, someone beat us to it. Guys, we may need to make this a bit better before we get owned in this demographic." hence the revamping of a few things, however the main reason of the delays is of course, the glitches. so, don't worry, D3 will come out one day, but until then, there's Torchlight, good game, and can fill the gap for now.

EDIT: should have been in Gaming, uh, I error'd.
