When did you, ever in gaming, feel the most superior / powerfull
and felt like you could destroy the whole world etc.

when i felt most superior, that would be when i played fable
and i killed the last boss (i wont endspoil) and i was fully evil
i was walking around all the towns and killing everybody
(after that it got kinda boring, so i finished the game again)

Btw i love fable, even whit all its flaws / sucky gameplay moments

Getting CoD4 as a Christmas Gift and firing up the Multiplayer and being called a "Christmas Newb" in my first game and then winning the match being #1 on my team with a positive K/D ratio. Never played CoD4 before.

That was recent, there are probably more. Like when I got bored with Halo PC version after I played 2 games in a row with 50 Kills 0 Deaths. Maybe I just got lucky or lots of newbs.

OH and finding a +1 Lightning Skills Charm w/ Life on it in Diablo 2, worth about 7 SoJs and trading an entire day with that as leverage and building it into 70 SoJs which decked out a Sorc in full gear with max resistance and DR in Hell with like +13 all skills. It was pretty awesome feeling :)

Taking over the whole map on the last level of Tiberian Sun or Red Alert 2. I have an obsession with doing that

Beating Soul Calibur II (and my friends) one handed. The AI in that game was seriously lacking in something.

Back before I lost all my files, I used to have this evil character on Fable who's stats were pretty maxed out except for some of the spells. So I could just go to a town and kill the shit out of everyone for like half an hour. It's funny to see the guards try to come at you, only to fail miserably. First the normal guards, then they send for the red guards, and then they send for the black guards, and none of them can do anything. It really gives you a sense of power.

Stealing a guard's shoes from off his feet, without him suspecting a thing in Oblivion.

Level up Sneak enough and you can do awesome things.

Playing City of Villains on my brute, watching a dozen super powered foes wail on me with all manner of horrible death dealing munitions, and weathering the assault with barely a scratch.

Beating Thrasher on Expert in Rock band! And then Beating Screaming for Vengeance right after just prove I still got it.

Also, playing Avalanche in halo 3 is pretty stellar. I dig doing a combination of Hornet and Scorpion on 1 Flag CTF, and giving the other team a little taste of the Blitzkrieg.

-SPOILER-

Another great moment, was the first time I piloted REX as snake in the Shadow Moses portion of MGS4. As the past crumbled around me, I blasted my way out of the ever familiar underground bunker, back to the surface where the most epic of confrontations would unfold. I think any Metal Gear fan knows the feeling that occurred during those moments.

And finally a little more recently, while playing Civ: Revolution, I greatly enjoy surrounding my enemies capitals while I explore my scientific and cultural options, and secure my place in time.

CoD4 - With one clip from an RPD, getting a helicopter in under 15 seconds.

Halo 3 - Multi Flag CTF on Avalanche. The other team have taken our flag, are flying back to their base. I take a pot-shot at the pilot out of frustration with my Sniper Rifle, and I get a headshot. Triple Kill.

I have a few, but I'll never forget this one as long as I live:

- Medal of Honor Allied Assault Multiplayer - The pistol is an horrible, horrible weapon... It can miss a target while standing perfectly still and crouched across a road, or it can shoot right on target. It also does crap damage comparetively to other weapons. Anyways, to those that haven't played, there's this mapped dubbed "sniper heaven" cause of the huge churc right smack in the middle that grants a perfect snipping spot to about 60% of the entire map... TDM, my team controlled that spot, and one guy, really good player, was making a run for cover across the last ''open area'' he had. After that he had cover all the way to us, which would make it a nuissance. 3 people firing at him, rifles, snipers and a machine gun, not one hit him. As soon as I go up the stairs, I had one of those "feelings", whip out the pistol take a shot and right smack in the middle of his head, down he goes.

I then proceeded to put the pistol away and move down the stairs with a ''that's how it's done'' feeling on my head. Best gaming moment ever.

Other empowering moments:
Halo PC - Soloing a whole CTF match in the canyon, doing 2 flags in a row, with the warthog without dieing.
Crysis - Most of the game really... Well, you spend most of the game playing lone wolf with a super powered suit... I think that's the whole the point...
Jedi Academy MP - Single handedly killing everyone fighting twice without dying, most of the time with under 25 hp left. - and - Killing about 5 people in a row and surviving another 3 or 4 with 1 HP.

GTA 4 sniping the pilot of the police helicopter through the opposite bottom window my first attempt was freaking sweet.

Eat that, Batman. You sha'nt be missed!!
