Hell, I can't even remember, as far as I can remember I've always been gaming. my earliest memories would be playing the Super Nintendo with my dad, or the PS1 at my cousin's house, or the N64 at my neighbor's house. Before I got my own, that is.

I was born in '94, and my Dad gave me a Game Boy from the 80s that he had. I fell in love with the thing and, as I've explained somewhere else on this site, it became my life. I got all the subsequent Nintendo consoles 'cept the GBA (I got the SP a couple of years later) and am soon gettng the 360 cause I feel like I've been abandoned by my favourite compmay. (I drew the line after Wii Sports Resort. Too Far, Nintendo. Too far.)

I was about 4 or 5, the first game being Sonic the Hedgehog on the Sega Megadrive. I was born in 1990, so I've been gaming for at least thirteen years...

I was probably around three or four when I started gaming. I just remember this weird PC side-scrolling brawling game and a Jurassic Park game for a console that I called an Atari (don't remember if it actually was an Atari or not). And a GameBoy a year or so later.

I was born in 1975. I would say I was around 4 or 5. It was the Atari PONG system that only played PONG. Man, that was a LONG ass time ago.

Watch out, folks. We're dealing with a master here.

No, seriously... I mean that with all respect. If you started out with PONG, the One True Game, no one can touch your gamer cred.

When I was about 5, I got a ZX-81. You had to program the games into it. And it couldn't do anything but blocks of stuff. There were about three games in the manual.

Eh. My Parents were upset with me building Bionicles because they had swords. Got my first console (A Gamecube) at ten because I'd been wanting some games, and my mom thought I might as well start with what she thought was the most kid-friendly console. I'm sure I'd been playing flash games online since way before, though.

First, it was Tetris on a computer word processor, one of those old ones that had a black screen and only yellow print, and then Donkey Kong Country and Mortal Kombat for the SNES.

Me too, man. Did it have that sort of vertical widescreen ('longscreen'?)?

I then moved onto the supercomputer known as the BBC Micro, then a god-like ZX Spectrum. Games included Horace goes Skiing and Manic Miner (a mind-boggling 8 colours, I remember).

I guess when my brother got a NES and I loved that thing playing Duck Hunt and Mario bros. Or it could be sneaking onto my brothers computer playing his Quest for Glory games.

At age six, my dad got me a playstation.
My first game was crash bandicoot, oh how I miss playing it.
I weren't too good ofcourse, however I soon got a friend who often liked to play with me (taking turns and such).
He was a year older than me and a little bit better at playing games too.
I miss that friend, he was my best friend for years, he often helped me get out to meet new people... even though he had quite low morals, (such as shop lifting and playing with his lighter) he was a loyal friend to me :(
Sadly he moved away and we barely ever talk to eachother anymore...

I seemed to have drifted off, never the less.
Playstation = kickass times.
After that I got into PC gaming alot, and I also got myself a gamecube.
However the gamecube didn't last long, yet I will always remember the 4 player games on smash with some of my friends...
It's a shame I barely ever meet some of them, and the ones I do just play 360 online with people... it's just not the same anymore.

I started gaming(due to my age)during the rise of Sony. I played mostly retro games though, and when I turned five I was upgraded to the Playstation, which I played avidly. The first game I ever remember playing was the old shooter game which ran on DOS script, me and my cousin tried frantically to figure it out, hitting every button on the keyboard did nothing. The first game I ever beat was Spyro for the Ps1. I love that game :)

Wow, Wii Sports Resort did it for ya? I gave up on nintend the minute the name went from Revolution to Wii, and I was the picture of nintendo fanboy at the time to. You have more patience than I do.

As me and my fanboy buddy called anything other than nintendo before we switched, Welcome to the Dark Side

I was seven when I played my first console videogame, which was Pong.

I'm 38 now. Wow, most of you make me feel so old.
