When Did You Stop Playing Cookie Clicker?

Simple enough question. If you've played Cookie Clicker, at what point did you stop playing Cookie Clicker? (If you haven't played Cookie Clicker, well, google it yourself. I don't want to be called an enabler).

I ended up with billions of cookies and started buying rockets (this was after leaving the game running overnight), when I finally said BF Skinner could fuck off. Did it take longer or shorter amounts of time to kick the habit?

I don't think reaching billions of cookies can be called a cookie clicker habit.

I put 147 days into that game and was getting exponent amounts of cookies 1.00e97+, with several dozen prestiges.

I only stopped playing because I lost my cookies(internet not game), and my progress.

Around 2 weeks ago when the super boring schooling part of my re-education ended, now I'm in the practical working part and have no time for this shit anymore, and I rather play actual games at home.

I tried it two or three months ago. Then I found Hero Clicker. Same concept, but different theme. I still play that today. Though only for maybe 2 minutes 3~4 times a day.

I didn't start. I did however play Sakura Clicker, and I stopped around the time that the boobs stopped being amusing. Which was at about the 6 hour mark.

I can't remember the number of cookies. But I assume it must have been trillions of cookies. There was a whole arc at some point about the granmas gaining interdimensional powers, the grand-matriarchs demanding offerings (in cookies, of course) or else horrifying creatures would appear around the cookie and gnaw it, eating up your cookie production rate. At the end an expensive treaty was made with them and everything returned to normal.

Oh, and then it was this special Santa event, where you payed cookies to make Santa age from being an embryo, through childhood and adulthood, up to his true form: a giant eyeball with tentacles.

...those developers are crazy.

oh boy...I thought I got that monkey off my back months ago D:

I have a file from like 1-2 years ago that's still active. I just checked back on it now for the first time in many months to find an update. I don't remember what it was at before I stopped playing last time, but now my account is making 513.264 trillion cookies a second that gets a huge boost every time I buy a prism...oh god, it's starting again...

Anyway, the file I have now has 56% of the current achievements, and has been running for 13,499 hours, or 563 days, and sitting on 216 heavenly chips, and I can get 100 more if I choose to do the legacy thing, which I probably wont.

Oh, and I have Banana milk from all my achievements, ew?

Oh the update changed the Legacy thing. Now you can get MORE upgrades when you ascend, like more wrinklers, boosts to Golden Cookies, the ability to switch holiday effects on and off at will, a Cookie Dragon...

Cookie what now?

*Google*

Huh. Okay.

To answer your question, about 40 seconds after I started.

Also, what is wrong with you people?

Never played. And from what I've read in this thread so far, I'm not entirely sure I want to[footnote]It's fine if you like it, I just don't feel like spending my time on it.[/footnote].

Sounds like a bad case of extreme boredom and nothing better to do. I sure hope that's the case anyway. I can at least relate. On slow work days, some of the dullest games around seem like the most desirable use of my time.

Around the time I discovered Clicker Heroes. Which I am in fact playing right now. I'm nearing 2.500 hours played. Never gets old.

Never played Cookie Clicker, but I do play Sakura Clicker. Mainly interested in seeing how far it goes, and how many companions you can ultimately hire.

Still playing it, but hit kind of a brick wall (the prices required unexpectedly jumped two letters, from ll to nn), so I have to let it lie for weeks at a time, then upgrade the latest companion.

First thought that popped up when seeing just the title.

"Welcome to our Cookie Clickoholics Anonymous meeting"

Never played it myself, and even with this thread peaking my curiosity slightly, I am not going to. :p

I never got around to Cookie Clicker, I'm still playing Progress Quest [http://progressquest.com/]. What's even better is that I get the same outcome and I still get to use my mouse to do other things.

2 months, but then after a few years I got dragged into Hero Clickers, and after escaping that I'm not stuck in AdVentrure Capitalist.
