For instance, I was playing Fallout 3 at my Dad's house, who's girlfriend has two chihuahuas. As I was walking through Moira's shop, the body guard say "Stop that!" just as the dog walked by the television, causing the dog to jump about a foot (exaggerated) in the air and run away.
(We all know that story about the baby dying while the parent plays WoW, let's only use your own anecdotes)
