Hello fellow escapists! Long time has passed since last time I wrote so here I come again!
We've all had somekind of dreams (I hope at least you have had. If you don't, I'm in loss of words then) and thoughts what we'll do for our living when we grow up. Being curious person I would like to know how did your dreams turn out to be? Did you know all the way from the craddle that you'll become the evil scientist who'll take over the world or did you have change of heart and decided to protect the world from your neighbor who always tinkers around with his giant mechas?
Joking aside, I'm soon starting in university with software/programming side in mind. Earlier I always thought that I'll become veterinarian and help animals but I noticed that it doesn't really interest me as much as Information technology (Sorry if they don't mean exactly the same thing but you get the general idea. My english is not perfect). Will I get a job that fits with my studies? This is yet to be seen.
How about you older escapists? Did you become what you wanted to be or did something happen and you started working somewhere you had no idea you'd work at until the last moment? For younger folks, such as myself, feel free to ponder these things and tell your side on the topic.
