Tell us a story of when mother nature decided to all-out murder you! In fact, just recently I had this experience. I was walking home to see two birds flying after each other in front of my door. I didn't think anything of it. But when I got close to the door, one of the birds freaking DIVE BOMBED me! And while I was running towards my back door, it dive at me again! It didn't get me either time, but it was still scary as hell.

When I was but a wee lad, I went to my grandmother's house. My grandmother's husband is a farmer, so next to the house there was a huge stack of potato crates. I climbed onto the stack and thought it was awesome. After about half a minute on top of the stack, a seagull decided I was a hazard to its children, and decided to begin diving after me; pretty much like what you experienced. After realising that I could not get down, I jumped down a crack between two crates, and started shouting for help. It took something like five minutes before anyone noticed me.

My hate of birds in general and seagulls in particular probably owes to this incident.

Pfft. Most birds divebombing maneuvers are standard defensive behavior. They likely have a nest somewhere. Most small birds won't connect with a creature the size of a human. It's really only the raptors you need to worry about pissing off.

Climbing a tree when I was a kid I went head first into a spider nest.

Literally hundreds of spiders crawling over my face has left me with a rather strong phobia of the creatures.

We were at a Christmas party. The house was on top of a hill. I was about 5/6 years old. The wind was over 100 Km/hr. I was off of my feet a few times. Had to hang on to my father, or I would have been blown off.

I don't care, it's terrifying.

I was 4 and I was at a petting zoo. AND THE FREAKIN' GOAT CHARGED ME!
I am now afraid of petting zoos.

I've seen my granddad wrestle a sheep. He was recovering from hip replacement so I think mother nature came off pretty well.

I dunno, it's just something I don't understand. Like how people freak out when they see a mouse.

Well, the diving is a technique they have developed in order to scare us. It's its purpose.
A mouse, on the other hand, isn't trying to be scary.

My most terrifying experience with nature...I really can't remember a truly terrifying experience. Nature always seems to be one up on me anyway.

I stepped on a wasps nest when I was 4 and was brutally attacked and a seagull clawed at my head at disney world while attempting to steal my ice cream (friggin seagulls). Other than that I have been very well off when it comes to nature, mostly because i spend most of my time indoors.
