When I was around 5 years old, I thought TMNT 3 was one of "teh c00les+ movees EVARR!1!!". After watching it again 13 years later, I can now safely say it's possibly one of the worst films of all time. Seriously, no one in their right mind who worked on this film couldn't have said "Yep, this is as good as a movie about the TMNTs is gonna get".

So yeah, what movies, games, TV shows, or whatever do you remember loving as a kid, but hate now?

I don't hate it now, but when I was younger, I played Digimon Rumble Arena at a friends house. I recently bought it, and it was no where near as fun as it was when I was younger. Still fun, but really primitive.

Barney. It was my favourite show for a long time until the special guest was a girl born without hands. I was only 4 for Christ's sake!

Captain Planet.....it is terribad.
Captain Planet Saves Belfast made me cringe so much my jaw broke.

OT: I still can't decide whether Max Steel was bad or not? Was it? Can anyone help?
I can't remember. I was too busy watching the "Batman/Superman Adventures". You know, the one's that don't suck?

Yeah it was a little lame, but me and a friend had a great time with Tornado Fights between Wargreymon and Blackwargreymon.

The TV show Mighty Max comes to mind for the OP.

Beast wars. I tried watching an episode last night, just couldn't get into it. The voice acting was so bad.

Yu Gi Oh and possibly Dragonball Z. Not that I hate the latter but the degree to which I loved it was embarrassing.

The Power Rangers is the only thing I can come up with. Looks like I had a good taste when I was young - I grew up with games/shows I currently still consider above average like Warcraft, Starcraft, Dungeon Keeper and Star Trek.

Really? I own the 2nd and 3rd seasons and they are still scores better than any other Transformers thing out there...

I have to go with the old Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle cartoon...My brother and I thought that was awesome and so we bought those season dvds they've been releasing...Now we end up just buying the dvds to own the whole collection while never watch them...

Aah, nostalgia. It's awesome, really. Clouds reality like a highly potent shot of whatever drug has that effect.

I'd say favourite show was SWAT Kats. Watched it again not too long ago, and it stood the test of time, honest. It's still cool.
Also Pokémon (the original series) is still in my heart.

Gamewise I have a soft spot for Star Tropics on the NES (yell out if you've played it. You'll get a cookie). Still going strong.

EDIT: Just realized I missed the point of the thread, sorry.

Nostalgia gone bad for me would be, uhm, I can't do it. My childhood was timeless and brilliant!

Man, watch Code of Hero. I bawled for hours after that.

And it's endlessly amusing when you realize four separate characters with vastly different voices who often argue/fight with each other are voiced by the same guy. (Damn, Scott McNeil, how do you DO that?!)

Let's see... Batman: The Animated Series was incredibly awesome... aha!

I have an enormous soft spot for the X-Men animated series, but it does not seem quite as awesome now. Same goes with the old Spider-man series. (Oh lord, there's been a million of those, haven't there. It was the one that had a cross-over with the X-Men series that was written REALLY BADLY.)
