When Technology meets bureaucracy

You all may have heard of the prototypes of liquid-cooled laptops:

Now, I have a very strange question that must pop up if this technology does flourish.
If I have a liquid-cooled laptop in my hand luggage when boarding a flight, will it be limited by that annoying 100ml liquid limit?

Will it even show up on an x-ray since my laptop is solid metal?
