I'm male and age 17 Junior in high school.

MY first crush was about 8th grade to mid-Freshman year, crush ended when she rejected me and ever since then no one else has really caught my eye.

I don't really know if it's a psychological fear of future rejection and therefore i'm preventing myself from liking others like that subconciously or... something else.

But seriously i don't really think it's unnatural for you not to have liked anyone however far into your life you are because well some people start having crushes or falling in love or whatever later in life usually because they have more important things on their mind so it's totally fine.

The first would be when I was about five, the next was at about eight, maybe nine, after that there was a crush that consumed me from age eleven to thirteen, when I moved too far away to keep in touch.

I had a few quasi-crushes in 9th grade. The first real crush I had was at summer camp later. When went to 10th grade at a new school, I wanted to enter the dating pool. (Remember at this time, I was still vaguely likable.) Unfortunately, the environment, was so toxic it straight out of Bret Easten Ellis book. I know a 12-year-old who finished his HSC a year back. He's a Mathemagician and a Chemistry whiz, and can work wonders on any instrument that he gets his hands on. He's a bit immature, though, not saying that that isn't to be expected.

I've had just a few crushes, starting with middle school I guess. I had about four during those three years, starting with my first that basically ended up with me losing sleep for a few days (pathetic, I know), but the entire four years of high school I only had one, and that was during my sophomore year. Go figure, that last one completely shut me away as far as interest in dating goes.

A few quality relationships occurred in college that just happened through natural chemistry, but otherwise I'm doing great.
