I'm in the process of uninstalling and reinstalling Oblivion because even with OBMM and Wrye Bash, I haven't quite been able to keep the game from becoming horribly unstable after switching some mods around (and as much as I love Qarl's Texture Pack, the framerate hit just isn't acceptable to me, not after installing Fallout 3 and getting a better framerate on it than I get on Oblivion).

So my topic for discussion: Have you ever uninstalled and reinstalled a game just to get it cleaned up, even if you then put a different mod loadout back on it to get it back to the way you wanted it?

Somewhere along to way, the mods I downloaded for Fallout 3 turned my game into a glitchy unplayable wreck. But I had downloaded so many mods recently that it was hard to determine what mods were causing the conflict. I gave up and decided to just reinstall the game. I still downloaded mods for it, but only the ones I knew were worth the hassle.
