A few months back, I made a review of Bad Mojo for the User Reviews section of he forums. I took almost a week trying to get that review to my liking and to try to remove any and all errors. Once posting the review, I was sadden by the fact that no one responded, and only a few people read it.

All I ask is this, as this ever happened to you? Have you ever made a post or blog or video or whatever get pushed aside even though you thought it held some significance?

YES.
The most recent example would be my first and only thread here on the escapist. It's here http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/9.126110#2644556 If you want to check it out.
Edit: sorry about the shameless plug, I hope you won't hate me for it

It happens from time to time, it's not really anything you're doing. Way back when I used to think that my threads were jinxed since no one ever posted in them. Sometimes folks are drawn away by things they find more interesting (or easier to think/talk about).

I only ever created 1 thread, and it got a decent amount of replies. I would think it feels bad when you get nothing though.

Neither of my reviews have gotten replies, and my most recent one(an album review for the new Rancid CD) got few looks. It doesn't really bother me, mostly because they only need the people who care to read them. If at least someone out there cares enough to read it then i'm happy.

If you make that much effort on it, i'd post it on multiple forums, not just the escapist :)

I've only made a few threads, and all of them petered out after less than a page. I can never seem to find that topic that spurs pages and pages of debate.

Mine have gotten a few, but I don't mind if it's overlooked. Other people say things better than I do, and an OP usually takes a lot of good words to get a discussion going, so I mostly stick with one-liners, or keeping it fairly short.

I always seem to get bad luck in forums. Most of my posts get no replies or gets locked right after I post them (and no one ever tells me why o_O").

I'm kinda traumatized by forums, really. I don't even know what I'm doing on this one!

I've posted a few threads. None of them made it past two pages; perhaps it was a boring topic, perhaps it was posted with not very many people were online, perhaps I just fail.

Whatever the reason, I just shrugged and left.

At least they're not full of replies from people calling you an idiot and telling you how wrong you are?

I have made three threads, and none of them were successful. My first thread was a thread about your favorite Persona from the series. It only got one reply. My second thread was about a shooting. It got ten replies. I made a thread earlier today reporting the death of Eunice Kennedy. It has two replies. It doesn't bother me.

Nope, all the threads I've made have had a decent number of replies.

I suppose the trick is when you post (in the evening is best) and to post something that people can actually respond to.

Avoiding versus/your favourite/who is better threads doesn't hurt either.
