I'm looking to buy another one, but all the reviews I keep reading on websites like Amazon tell me that their all cheap knock-offs.

Any old school gamers have a link to a good SNES controller for sale? Preferably one they purchased themselves?

Check either ebay or retrousb.com. They also sell kits to let you use the controllers on your PC.

ebay. Or find someone near you that has a snes, and break in at night and take the controller.

Ebay or Amazon.
It isn't that hard, once you put some effort into it.
And I own a bunch, a few have ripped up cords and I'm using the others.

Ebay has everything. Just don't dig too deep or you will find something you don't want to know exists.

I'd check out a Vintage Stock. I've seen NES and SNES controllers at two different Vintage Stock locations where I'm living.

There's probably a ton on Ebay.

I've got 5 official and a third party. I do have a tap for Bomberman though, so i'm not being that greedy.

Well, I know it sounds strange, But if you like in the US, Goodwill is a decent place to find old gamestuffs... I now have 2 NESs (and 4 controllers) 2 SNES (and 4 controllers) a PS1 (and a controller (no mem card tho))... All that stuff for a total of...(calculating) around $25

Find the merchant, he's the guy in the black trenchcoat. You'll need Pesetas, he doesn't accept dollars. :)

Much as it doesn't help you, I sold two on ebay about a month ago :)
Why would you sell them?

Thing is, a lot of the reviews I'm reading say that these are cheap knock-offs of the original.

I mean, sure they are cheap...but I'd rather pay more for something that is quality.

I don't want the stiff buttons, sticky buttons, shortened cords, etc...that a lot of people have been complaining about.

I have an SNES and one controller...but I don't have a second...

I want a second though so me and some friends can do some old school gaming...

From Ebay. Original SNES controllers are not expensive at all.

Thanks...I can't believe I didn't think to add 'original' to the search...I just kept browsing through the list of 'snes controller'...
