i usually purchase new games through amazon with my amazon credit card, which gives me points that i can use to get gift cards or cash back. it's pretty sweet since i pay off my balance every month :) they have a lot of travel rewards too, you should check it out.

Not mine. A lot of friends and managers love me. And want me to work there. I'm sold a lot of Wii's and games(recently 3 wiis and TvC and NSMBW). Might apply again.

Gamestop. It's not like I have much choice, though.

Otherwise, the internet helps me make my purchases... from Gamestop's website.

EB Games, Wal-Mart, or Steam. EB Games is phasing out their PC section and going online only though, so it'll just be Wally Mart and Steam soon. Steam is great though. I like getting good games for ten bucks.

Most used to least used.

1. Gamestop. It's a store. I go there for stuff.

2. Gamefly. $45 for Bioshock 2, well if I rent it and choose "KEEP IT"! Then the mail you the box. Still. Damn good deals. Like Steam deals but with consoles. Got Marvel Ultimate Alliance for $20. Free shipping, too.

3. Steam. Never play what I buy though...too many from the holiday sale.

4. Amazon. MW2 for $40 new at Christmas? YES PLEASE! Free shipping on orders over $25.

EB games, Steam and occaisionally walmart, when EB is sold out. I would go to best buy or futureshop but unfortunately there are not a whole lot of retail choices up here...

At a british store Imaginatively called GAME. they don't have as good prices as Gamestation, but my loyalty card usually gathers up quite a saving, it'll knock 11 quid off of AVP for me. By the way, does anybody know what rating that'll be? BBFC, not the american system.

GAME. generally the one in which I work.

I get 25% off most things, and also get £2.50 on a loyalty card for every cumulative £100 I spend, but get double the points if I preorder (I just preorder everything then make up my mind when it comes in, basically. Anyone in the UK: You can do the same, GAME don't make you pay up front, except online)

Usually either the Discovery Channel gameshop (they often have CE's you can't get anywhere else over here, at least not that easy) or a little, independant Dutch online gameshop called GCshop.

Both are usually a lot cheaper than most retailers over here. For example, if I'm going to buy Bad Company 2, I'll do it at GCshop. It's just 49.50 there, instead of the usual 60 euro's. Why even bother with brick-and-mortar or big chain shops then?

On rare occasions I buy something off Steam. Usually insanely good deals like last Christmas, or old games you can hardly buy in stores nowadays (KotOR, Psychonauts). I still prefer a nifty case and a manual and all that.

I don't get why everyone isn't just buying there games through steam or amazon.

There a hell of alot cheaper than any store any day. I got far cry 2 for 4 pound on steam with the expansion. How can you complain about that! And my rooms littered with cheap games I got from amazon.

Electronic Boutique, pawn shops, and second-hand shops. On the rare occasion I go to Blockbuster or Rogers.

Game Stop and a few times online.
There was a Rhino's Games in my town for a while but it closed down.
Sucks, they had a bigger selection and cheaper prices than GS.

There was also a Play-N-Trade but their closing down too.
They had good prices and a lot of Deals all the time.
The only thing was a low selection.

Usually eBay, but I'll go to whatever retail store I'm near to get one new if I'm really wanting to play it now.
