I wonder if these things are transferable. Then I'd be able to repeatedly beat Mario's face in until he dies, bring him back and do it all again.

I agree, it'd be really cool if we could trade the thingies around to other people. Sure, there's the guilt of the thing, but we were given the gifts by a computer, so I don't think it'll care if we don't like the gifts. I got a girly pink candy-cane heart. Disappointing.
