Los Angeles. and then I would type some more here because last time I directly answered a question I got moderated for a "low content post"

New York.
Either one of these. Both setup for a huge sprawling city. However, since its already been featured in California before, I think NYC is more likely.
Also, if an enemy country were going to bomb the US, wouldn't they nuke the major cities? Which include SF and NY? That would leave a pile of rubble as the setting.

OT: South America would be interesting, I wonder if they got involved in the nuclear war. Or maybe Africa. Or London.

Too much post-apocalyptic New York going around, somewhere different. Australia.
*laughs* Silly Bastard, if we did that...it wouldn't be a post apocolyptic game. Don't you know? If any major disaster/problem occurs Australia always remains unaffected and just ignores it. Carrying on as it normally does xD. In other words, it would just be a normal First Person Shooter game..which would still be kinda cool.

China would be cool, because it would enable a mix of amazing and varied landscape (china is a breathtaking country, visually) older style asian cities and super-modern day cities, which would be interesting

The first thing that comes to mind is Fallout: Helsinki, but an even better idea would be Fallout: London. But then they would have to hire british voice actors.

Kansas City. There's quite the dichotomy in that city already, it's probably be an interesting Fallout setting. Just crossing from Missouri to Kansas and vice versa would be an adventure in and of itself.

Fallout: Alaska

I think in the story most of Alaska was devastated by the war with China but no nukes were really dropped excessively. Also i just want my home state of Alaska to be portrayed in a game more then just as a small forgettable expansion most people only play for the new gear it provides...

Or a Fallout game where instead of you coming out of a vault in a mountain you are in a special "Space Vault" and get sent down to earth for some reason or another. This way you would be someone who already knows the dangers of the planet and it's full history. Just seams like it could be a good idea to me.

EUROPE!

Most precisely in Spain. We have had enough Fallout games in the USA, who says that Vault Tec had vaults only there? Such a global company must have vaults scattered all over the world.

America and China where the two people taking the heavy swings at eachother.

But did China have any way to defend it's greatest people against the bombs that would fall? Their own vaults and bunkers?

What'd you say we see that going on there, a Brotherhood/Enclave expedition?
parts of china already look like it would after an apocalypse

Australia mate ;) Nah just kidding, that would be pretty boring. Although Melbourne and Sydney might not be too bad. Anywho, I would like the next one to be in LA. I always wanted to go to LA.
its gone. LA is a HUGE pit left by a nuke. its now called the boneyard and was already done in fallout 1. bethesda does east coast only, never west coast.

EDIT: at least that's what it looks like on the map. black on black makes it very hard to see what is left, and what is scorched. especially from an aerial view.
So THAT was the boneyard. I was there once, and then had no idea if I was supposed to somehow rope down it or not :p

Somewhere in the Great White North. Not a resident of Canada myself but it would be cool to have a frozen environment with forests of dried out trees cooked by the nuclear fallout instead of the mid-west's plains cooked by nuclear fallout that we've been seeing since the first day of school.

The cities would be mostly intact as well because well, who would nuke Canada?

English speaking Canada anyway...

Well London would be interesting or maybe Paris... Or Sydney, I honestly can't think of a game set in Australia, you know we'd of had some nukes thrown at us.

Mutated Kolas and Kangaroos! The normal ones are mean enough, just think of the mutated ones.
