Probably a cliched topic idea, but anywho.......

I work at a Smitty's (a restaurant chain here in Canada) as a busboy. I started back in July and so far it's been pretty smooth sailing. The one downside is weekends. It's a pretty popular restaurant, so when it really picks up on Sunday (last Sunday was ungodly busy) it can be come a little stressful. I can deal with this, but when it comes time to go into the "dish put" it becomes one big stress attack...especially on Sunday.

Overall it's a good job. While it's minimum wage, you do get tip out, which is usually like an extra $20 or more.

Right now I work at EarthFare-- it's essentially a supermarket that sells exclusively healthy/organic stuff. I'm in the Produce department, so I do a lot of box moving/fruit cutting/throwing rotten peaches at dumpsters to watch them splatter. I make $8 an hour, which really isn't that bad, I guess. Saving up a little cash for when I transfer colleges this spring.

I think the only thing that would suck about that job is dealing with all the tree hugging hippies that much shop there.

Currently i work in a tiny little shop in the outskirts of my town earning a sweet 10 euro an hour - its horribly boring with about 20 customers a day but it has wifi and i can just surf the web all day on my laptop
Also - for the summer i worked as a proof reader for a local newspaper - minimum wage but great fun

I work at Bose Corporation R&D headquarters as a CNC Machinist, we manufacture all the parts for Bose prototypes. Its pretty good work, always something new and interesting coming through the shop, and good money and benefits.

Actually "hippies" are generally easy going and fine to deal with. Although why you think only hippies shop there is beyond me. I'm not a hippie but I like to eat healthy.

Back on track.. I work at a "fine" dining restaurant called the Bonefish Grill, as a server. I'm loving it. I can make as much in 4 hours as most make in several days of working.. and it works great for my school schedule. Dare I say, I'm almost even a little addicted to it.

That's not right outside Indianapolis, is it? I used to live very close to a Bose warehouse/headquarters of some sort and tried to get a job there. Seemed like it'd be a cool job, but I tried for the IT department.

I work for a small oil company here in Calgary as a Land Administrator, which basically means I file paper, photocopy paper and call people to get the right pieces of paper from them. Which means I pretty much just generate paperwork.

EDIT: For whatever reason it didnt post what I had typed, only what I had quoted. To answer your question no, Bose Headquarters is in Framingham, MA.

I work at a small engineering company in Chattanooga, TN. I'm a staff engineer (electrical), I handle the IT requirements, and I'm a (small) part owner so I'm also a director.

I am a "public service employee" (I work for the Canadian government).
Policy states that I can't really discuss my job, but don't be fooled by the secrecy...it really isn't that exciting.
