What happened to Bots? And other general comments about the state of current gaming:
Right so I recently saw a topic about Time Splitters: Future Perfect and that got me thinking about it and what I liked about it. One of the main things that made that game awesome, in my opinion, was the fact that the multiplayer, and I?m talking offline with real life friends, complete with beer and food, and the fact that you could all team up together and wage what can only be described as a brutal war of attrition against the endless hordes of floating snowmen, dinosaurs and scantly clad jungle women.
Note on team colours: I usually went for green? because lets face it in the endless battle between red vs. blue, its quite clearly going to be us greenies that are going to sneak up behind you with a rocket launcher and blow your heads (and most other extremities come to think of it) off.
So I put to you, the community, where have all the Bots gone? I grow tired of people that complain when I want to repeatedly destroy them, I want to be able to get some mates together and destroy some mindless drones with my big Minigun? also answer me this why is there no Minigun any more, it seems to have gone the way of the BFG?
