Where is HL 2 Episode 3?

All I wanted to see this year from the VGAs was at least some sort of update, Teaser or even just a random screen shot having something to do with Half Life 2 Episode 3. any body feel the same?

But in reality, I don't mind how long it really does take as long as they do make it "worth" the wait... which means it better be way better than the past episodes and if i daresay HL2 itself.

No, as much as I love Half-Life. I've learned not to wait for Episode 3. Portal 2's been delayed until next fall already, and there isn't a soul on earth who's breathed a word about Episode 3. It's been three long, sad years of pointless hats.

I, quite honestly, don't care if Half-Life Episode 3 is ever announced or released. It's been far too long, and I was never a huge Half-Life fan to begin with. Seriously though, it's been too long.

Thank you! I'm glad to see I'm not the only one that feels this way.

There's obviously some reason why Valve hasn't released anything about the game; they wouldn't withhold it simply to piss off fans. Maybe they've put their priorities elsewhere, or development has run into issues, or something else serious. The game will come out when Valve wants it to, so in the meantime be patient and enjoy some of the other great games coming out in 2011.

Dude, it's the VGAs. Valve isn't going to announce one of the most highly anticipated games of all time to a bunch of half-idiots and culture analysis studiers (one of those people in the last category being me).

But its somewhere where you can announce The Next Elder Scrolls Game which is Bigger than Half-Life I have to admit.

I think Valve still has one surprise to reveal, from those 3 Surprises from a couple of months ago. They probably just didn't care to announce it at VGA. It's not like they need a show like that to reveal their games.

They announced Portal 2, in the beginning of March when no one was expecting.

People had to wait six years for Half-Life 2 to come out. It'll be released, there'll be plenty to distract us what with the announcements of Mass Effect 3 and Elder Scrolls V.

They actually said that Portal 2 takes place a hundred years in the future? That right there kinda spoils alot of possibilities they will take in Episode 3's plot structure.
