Where is Your Fallout 3 Home?

The Megaton house, I guess, but I really treat the entire wasteland like my home. I've got more guns, therefore all property defaults to me.

Is it cheating to say I created my own hangout using a mod? Its got a shop and everything. And for the record, it was created in game, not using the geck.

Previous to that, I hung out at tenpenny tower, even without nuking megaton. Prior to it being patched, you could go around from tenpenny's room, to the door leading to the house from the deck, and it was unlocked. I think its locked now though.

What mod did you use? I'd like to hear more about this.

megaton, i would take the sniper shack or a house in arufew but i'm too lazy to lug all my stuff to a new house on a save file i've already beaten.

now that i think about it a satacom relay would be a good place to use, maybe the one with the two different ones connected by a plank of wood, would be good since it has the mine lawn gnomes

or maybe the one with the mini nukes you can drop, world domination means you have to be able to drop nukes without walking miles to get to the switch.
edit:
if i had the pc version and the mods to make a place i would have a doom fortress, my own minions, a computer in the main room so i can release gas or unlock cage doors with ghouls in them, an area to hold my favorite things sort of like the room with the T-51B armour room.

and i would often spawn enemies outside to try and get through my base and die horribly from the turrets firing and burning them all alive and if that didn't kill them i would.

also you could put in a glass wall with a computer that would pour in gas and ghouls to attack, also put in a few locked deathclaw cages to open with the computer (the ones from the enclave), and maybe a button that would drop active trip mines down on you enemies.

also a helicopter pad, and if possible set the helicopter to fly off and return on the helicopter pad with people coming off and getting on, to make it look like you getting a supply shipment.

well i have no idea how mods work so creating this would probably be a problem since most mods might not be able to do this.

The mod is called Real Time Settler [http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=7070]. Its only real problem is that the NPC's doen't take into account the new buildings, so they can often walk into walls, and won't use paths you created. It still makes for a cool base though, and if you create your base on flat ground rather than a mountain area like I did, it shouldn't be much of a problem.

I use Herzog Mine in the Point Lookout DLC. I have it decorated with my unique items, and have a trunk and a wardrobe to stash my guns and armour respectively. I occasionally use the Megaton house to stash some quick leftover crap when I can't be bothered going all the way to Point Lookout.
I'm probably also going to look into hiding caches of weapons and aid around, instead of running around hoarding stimpacks.

Megaton, but always keeping that buffout and beer with me to run it. Also you don`t have to go through 3 different loading screens (Tenpenny tower, I`m looking at you), plus, just being able to fast travel out. That and I have a very distrusting relationship with the outside of "towns" and random event people stealing my stuff (the xbox has done many things to brutalize me with glitches).

Tenpenny Towers suite because of the explasion. But before I blew up Megaton I killed everyone with my trusty rusty sniper rifle to gain as much evilness as I could, hired Jericho and then blew it to hell. So the blast maybe killed 3 or so people.

That sounds exactly like the idea I was going to post-I was hoping that in the future Fallout game that you could grab stuff and turn it into a makeshift base/house. That is a perfect idea for me, since I like creating house for myself. Coincidentally, I never realized that stuff you leave in Fallout stays there, so I never made a house. Too bad I don't have the PC version...

Tenpenny Tower. After I killed everyone, of course.
Aww...Ninja'd

I also use the National Guard Depot (the place with the Experimental MIRV and the Small Guns Bobblehead). That place has a few workbenches and a lot of guns and beds. The hard part is finding your way around.
