Where the hell did the time go?

So last night( or the night before that?) me and my friend got on skype and loaded up Empire Earth around 9pm we joined as a team and and made 2 other bots on a team and started in the second epoch 6 hours later we reach the final epoch and nuke the last bot of the map after quiting the game to score screen and laughing at the who got the most mouse clicks (me) and who use the most hotkeys (my friend) we close the game to find out that we were on skype for 6 hours then finding out it was 4 am. Has this ever happen to you were you been playing a game all and just as you close up everything you find out that sun is rising?

Every time I play Civilization. If you play Civ and this doesn't happen you're playing it wrong.

Oh, many a time.

You do not know life until you've played Civ 4 on LAN for 11 consecutive hours.

Many-a-RPG and RTS has done this to me.

I once had a Dawn of War skirmish last over 200 hours. That whole week was vaporized.

P.S: I won the DoW game.

SINs of a solar empire is the worst game for this IMO. I go into that game for a small skirmish with bots to waste a half and hour and by the time I've won its dark, i've grown a beard and for some reason I've lost a few stone. An exxageration really but a 30min game turns into 6 hours plus usually.

Oh yeah all the time. I've pulled all nighters on Gears of War, Halo, Empire Total War and CoD 4 Mods.

It's kinda bad when you have maths first thing at college the next day...
