I was just thinking about how awesome I am for having an avatar that I haven't seen anyone else have. And then it hit me: I have completely forgotten where I got my avatar from!

What is this ninja-monkey-throwing-an-LP? Is it some kind of cheap symbol you can use in Microsoft Word that I found on Google? Is it the secret world-leader of monkeys that I accidentally acquired a photo on while hacking the pentagon in my sleep? Did I find a random picture someone made in photoshop and then completely forgot about?

Help me find this little guys origin. Or maybe make up an origin for him so he doesn't feel all alone [sub] I'm not sure if it even is a guy... [/sub]

EDIT: IT'S BEEN SOLVED!!! Apparently this is the mascot for some British record label called "Ninja tunes". [sub]I was hoping for it to be asian... I don't think British people make for good ninjas[/sub]

HOLY SMOKES, British ninjas! I should make a thread about what nationalities except the asian ones make for the best ninjas!

Isn't it a pokemon of some sort? The fire-monkey from Diamond/Pearl I think.

I assume you may of gotten it off the internet one day, found it to be a nice photo, and kept it. As had you hunted for it (like I did with mine) You'd always remember were it came from

I really, really wanted to make a website with a convincing story to make you believe something entirely false. But I'm lazy, so I say it was just some awesome picture you discovered on the interwebs.

I have consumed the entire internet!

I bring you: Ninja Tunes. [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ninja_Tune]

It appears to be a record label.

Well First I saw the monkey and the old vinyl and I thought it was the symbol for "DJ monkey".

Huh, apparently my avatar is British... I've had it for months and didn't even know that. Need to communicate more with my avatar I presume.

Good thing you told me, otherwise I would have to go on "ask a ninja".

Thats something I always wondered actually. I was about to ask you! Dammit!

Google search on every variant of monkey ninja throwing an LP I could think of throws up nothing.

Although I found

if it helps, which I'm sure it doesn't.
Perhaps it's a distant cousin from the south?

He does look like a monkey, but I don't think it's him. A distant relative maybe?

Also, awesome avatar.
