I don't think i've ever felt so strongly about a movie after watching the trailer...until today. One of the most beloved children's stories ever written is finally coming to the big screen in October.

I watched the trailer this morning for the first time and I got chills up my spine, I even almost shed a tear. The trailer was beautiful and it made me wanna see this movie so badly. The camera angles were great, the design on the monsters was incredible and I never thought i'd ever be amazed by giant puppets ever again...boy was I wrong.

But enough about my opinion...what do you think?

My little bro showed it too me last night. I've got to say they've captured the book astoundingly. The late Jim Henson would be proud.

I can't wait to see this on the big screen... Where the Wild Things are was just about my favorite childhood book. This movie looks like it could really pull off the story and visuals from the book :-D

Wow, the monsters are great. But the original book was about 30 pages long at most, and about a kid who liked to dress up as a monster. How are they going to make a full length movie about it? :\

(Screw CGI)

I saw this trailer in theaters and I told my friends we had to go see it cause it truly is a good story. Not a single one of them had ever heard of it before. What the hell?!?

It looks a bit to childish for me to really enjoy it. I think the trailer looked good, but besides the nastalga i don't know what else this movie has for me.

The book was awesome, and the movie looks promising. Although I am still wondering where they will get the rest of the material from, since a 30 page children's book doesn't have much plot.
