I speak of course of the economy. With the G20 to meet soon to thrash out a multi-national solution to the current market crisis, it goes without saying that a bit of market speculation is in order.

So, where do you see things going with this market crash? Do you see the utter and total collapse of the market or perhaps we've bottomed out and slow growth will pick us back up? Are you for tighter regulation of trading or will this stymie growth as investors begin to get spooked by the red tape?

Speculation is what got us here in the first place, but what the hey!

Based on past trends we, as so called civilized people, survive these sorts of things. We have a crash, then we get ourselves back up to the marker maybe with a new "dollar" or via some other means. Analysis of previous trends indicates that we will simply go through the same thing again. I'm ashamed to say that our tard of a prime minister is quoted as saying "The worst is behind us [not sic]" when we're still watching companies go under.

I'm lucky, in a position that is widely sought after and with the skills to back it up, but I can see a lot of people struggling to make ends meet. I don't forsee another "Great Depression", but we may get that close.

All speculations I have made should be read under the notice that, at last check, I have lost $49,000 in stock crashes, so my speculations can be wildly innaccurate (actually I was just really sick the first few days and didn't trade out in time, but anyway)
