As long as you're open to potential critiquing you could, post it on this site, at least I know people would see it and read it. I wonder if we could have a forum dedicated to such things...
On here, unless there was a dedicated forum for it, it'd be dismissed as TLDR material.
For a more art centered website, you could try DeviantArt, I see a lot of people posting writing there.
I think there are also website communities dedicated specifically to writing, however I don't use those sites, so I can't say if people will read your stuff or not.

It'd be a bit difficult to get started on deviantart, wouldn't it? What with it largely focused on visual art and it having a youtube-esque system in that people can add people to watch.
And to be honest, I'm afraid of what I might stumble upon. I can never look at Nick and Ellis from Left 4 dead in quite the same way again...
The mods don't discard TLDR material, you're right that some users do, I don't personally mind long post, I know others have posted stories asking for opinions before and I've never encountered a user who was hostile toward them, one thing I can say for this community is they treat artistic things seriously and usually don't straight forward criticize. Although I think a forum for it would be a good idea to filter those people who don't mind the reading and those who do.
As for Deviantart, all new material is posted to the homepage for all the world to see when you upload, so there's the chance people will see your stories there. If that's not enough, they also have user groups so people who are specifically interested in a topic can post and see what others have have done. I'm sure there are probably a few dedicated to writers. DA is visually centered but writing is very welcome.
About the eh... disturbing artwork. When you make an account, in your preferences, you can choose to filter out all material labeled as "mature" I think it goes against the user agreement if you make something of that nature and don't correctly label it as such.
I can't speak for the writing community, but I do know it exists, I did a quick search for user groups focused on writing and the results turned up 203 pages dedicated to it, most of them are writing in general or for specific genres, not just 200 pages worth of fanfic groups.
Edit: Here's an example of a writing user group.
