I was pondering this for a while today, then realized that it would be a great forum topic.

My question is: Where do you want to go? What place, anywhere on Earth, would you like to see? I don't care if it is on vacation, or temporary/permanent residency; just name where, and elaborate as to why.

New Zealand and Canada are 2 places I'd love to visit at some time in my life. I'm slightly annoyed that I missed the opportunity to sign up for a University exchange scheme in Canada this year. Being ill cost me a cheap flight and a years board for damn cheap fees and catered accommodation. :(

British Columbia, specifically Vancouver. I've lived in Canada my whole life yet have never been further west than Lake Louise, Alberta.

I want to travel around western europe. I live in the UK (aaaaaabsolute shithole!) and want to see more of Germany, Spain, Italy, Portugal and so on
But I visited NYC when I was 16 and have thought about it every day for the past 4 years. Once I finish Uni I'm moving there, no ifs ands or buts

I don't have any real desire to travel. I'm set where I am right now.

And we shall welcome you here with open arms, my friend. What's in those arms, I can't say, but they will be open.

Anywho, I agree with New Zealand. After Lord of the Rings it became my vacation location of choice.

I'm hoping to teach in Japan next year, that's another place.

I want to go to Mexico, because I plan on opening a (more authentic than I've ever found) Mexican restaurant in my home town in later life, after I've made all my money. I'll go, spend a year or so learning the cuisine, then bring a couple of chefs and waiters back over the pond with me.

As far as travel goes -- I want to see it all. It's a big world full of things to see, places to go, and people to meet. I want to see and experience as much of it as I can.

I'd be just as content to live in Leogane the rest of my life, though. Best place I've ever been to. So many amazing people.

I'd love to go to New Zealand or Singapore again, as they were awesome. I am planning to go on a holiday at some point this year, if I can save some money up. Maybe not to New Zealand or Singapore because they are too damn expensive.

One thing I really want to do is just travel around and see everything there is to see. That would be awesome.

So everyone tells me. But I'm dying to find out for myself.

Aww... well I don't need it anyway; trying to lose some poundage, eh?
