I said it the first time posted this thread and I'll say it the next twenty. NEW YORK! Only because it would pretty cool having to navigate such a complex city in a post Great War city.

I thought fallout 3 was set in Detroit, you know as a prequel before the bombs fell.Jamie Ruston said:Let's say Detroit.

They could call back to the commonwealth and those androids.Soviet Heavy said:East and West Coast have been covered in 3 and New Vegas. Where should #4 sit? I kinda want it to be set in the north, maybe along the border between the States and annexed Canada. I wonder what sort of Canadian stereotypes would exist in the 2280s.
Well, if Ulysses was right, the NCR would have overextended itself after FONV and would have imploded(that's if you didn't nuke them). Technically, an L.A. based Fallout isn't impossible.newwiseman said:The Last two games have however centered around very iconic towns DC, and Las Vegas, so maybe Seattle or New York. I'd say LA but the NCR has that area covered.
This was my thought exactly, as much as I love the big open wasteland, it would be really cool to have a large area where you're in tight alleys and streets where deathclaws and super mutants are in a claustrophobic distance. Also the altitude changes would be nice, climbing mouths is cool with the occasional tall building, but in new york you would have sky scrapers, imagine looking at the new york wasteland from 80 stories up a building.Sgt.
