I think it'd be good for the people of the escapist to show where they live, not for any perverted or voyeuristic means, but just to get an insight and show the village, town or city in which they reside, what famous buildings are there and what not.

Also whether your particular home town hates MW2 or not (joke, had to put it in really, threads feel hollow these days if theres not a MW2 element in them)

Guess i'll go first, i'm from Liverpool, the butt of most British jokes that involve crime or thievery. Famous buildings include the Liver buildings, Albert Dock, Georges Hall and the obvious one Anfield.

Garrison, UK. It really IS a backwater town in the middle of nowhere.

The only good thing about it is that it is fairly scenic... although that is of small comfort to people like me who gets pings of well over 1000 when even one of their siblings is trying to use the Internet at the same time, and a source of many a frustration.

I suppose it could be useful, but most people will wait until being asked to divulgethat kind of information.
That being said, I reside in Oregon (oar-eh-gun, for all you East-Coasters) in the NorthWestern United States, where it is constantly rainy. Not downpour, just drizzling for so long that you start to forget what the sun looks like. On the plus side, we've got liberal minds and plenty of nature.

I'm Norwegian, originally from Fredrikstad (like anyone not from Scandinavia knows where that is), currently living and studying in Oslo, seeing as there's a university here.

I live in Perth city Western Australia, possibly the most isolated city in the entire world:

Small city with very little of value, but I love it here.

Sanford, FL :(

I have no probelm giving out that info, cause it is a small town which is mostly ghetto, and no one in their right mind would want to come here. Also it is in Florida so I figure the bugs, humidity, bad drivers, tourists/snow birds, rednecks, sink holes, and heat will get you first.

Oh, awesome view! I've been there before. That's St Michael's Mount, right? We came at low tide and walked across the causeway thing to it. That was great :)

Anyway, I come from London, which is a pretty self-explanatory place, but I now live in Reading. It's about an hour's drive from London, and it's a pretty minor place I suppose. No famous buildings that I know of, but the Halls of residence I'm living in have been around for over a hundred years.
