Where's the beginners guide?

Still relatively new to the Escapist-forums, though not forums overall, I can't find any guide to some of the forum-commands you can pull-off, like direct-linking pictures or youtube-links or similar.
Could someone write down the basic ones, or point me in the right direction?

Personally I learnt them by lurking and waiting till someone else used them then pushing the "quote" button next to their post to reverse engineer it.
