Which alignment do you prefer to play as (when given the choice)?

I go into it with the best intentions... But frustration will cause me to be bad, ie killing lucas simms and confessor cromwell (a large number of times) for bobblehead and... well, out of hate. I feel bad after though, so I cannot play as fully evil... its too much
Don't feel bad, I killed Lucas too. I tried to kill Cromwell too (he annoys me so much) but apparently the people of Megaton didn't like that very much and they all started shooting at me... is there a way to kill him without everyone trying to kill you for it?
Detonate the bomb I suppose. But surprise surprise, the damned moira brown still lives
But megatons a much cooler place to live than tenpenny tower

I prefer evil just because goodie/hero is over-done in games.

Or to play as god :D like in Simcity/CitiesXL/Sims etc.

Chaotic Neutral - I don't care about anything :D OR lawful evil - fun being the miserable old bastard!

For some reason, it tend to break down like this for me:
In RPG's, Good, Lawful or Chaotic.
In RTS's, Evil, usually Chaotic...

This equals helping individuals in RPG's, and subjugating entire empires in RTS's.

I'm one of the good guys. I sorta like that light blue glow that envelops your character. Oh, and its annoying chasing someone down if i'm evil.

No matter how hard I try, I can't quite get myself to go darkside. the closest i get in on Fable, where I was a womanising adventurer. Still good though.

Han Solo! I think that would describe the level of kickassness I aim for in every day life.

Fallout 3 has people randomly give you things like money and stimpaks
I've played as good all the way through Fallout 3 and nobody has given me a thing. I've heard you get gifts but nobody gives them to me :/
You wander around Megaton? That's where I always get the stuff. Ammo, caps, stimpaks, etc.
Who are you supposed to talk to? I've tried talking to the random settlers around town and many of the NPC's and none of them give me a thing.
I don't talk to them, they just run to me and hand it over.
Hmm... that's odd. Maybe I just need to play more or something? I don't know.
Yeah, me either. They run across town to give me stuff, so I dunno what's wrong with your game.

When a game gives me a choice I usually do whatever I think would be the best thing to do in the situation. I always try my very best to ignore the fact that there is good or evil because it seems like it should be more of a passive trait instead of a giant flashing thing that says you did something bad or good.

The pathetic good guy or the badass urban myth.(=neutral karma)
I just seem incapable of evil. Sad face :(
But my view on these things is that there is no such thing as "good" or "evil" just choices and their consequences. Which is a quote from some guy before you start telling me.

Yeah, nobody in Tenpenny Tower has any personality. And you can't get any good armour/clothing from Tenpenny Tower, all you can get is pre-war shit.

Neutral Evil, generally; I'm self-serving. Chaotic Good if I feel like playing the hero, because I can still shy away from the "Why I couldn't possibly take all the money you have as a reward, widow! You keep it!"-type options.

The Douchebaggery kind of EVIL. Anyone that looks at me wrong (or just looks at me) will have their head hung above my fireplace. I loves destruction except in Fable where I have no money because of fines and crap. Maybe InFamous will fare better in being evil.

I don't know why they even bother adding options like that, I doubt anybody uses them. I know I don't.

i like being evil just so i can run around killing anything that gets in my way. everyone ends up getting in my way so everyone dies. being good is just so hard cause its fun killing people who annoy you.
