I have a tendency to play Neutral Good/Lawful Good with most of my characters. Except for Grand Theft Auto, I just can't bring myself to be a total dick (but in GTA I play the Chaotic Evil sociopath with great joy).

True Neutral, cos then I can justify everything i do by saying "It's maintaining the balance between the forces of good and evil..."

I hate the bullshit new alignments in D&D edition 4, they may make more sense but they're a lot less FUN, and that's kind of the point of the game, what with it being a -fantasy world- and everything.

I prefer the lawful good path. Don't know why but I love the feeling of knowing I'm a friend to all of the creatures of the world. That and I can't stand the nasty looks NPCs send my way if I'm a dick.

Neutral-good cause I like to be able to save the people while still being able to blow the bad guys head off with out feeling ashamed.

I usually play evil but less in a Dr.Evil the world shall be mine and more like an anti-hero who likes to screw with people

Chaotic Neutral is the most freeing alignment. You can pretty much do what you want.

well, the first time through i will probably play as good. but every time after that i will invariably play as evil.

i think it's because i think it's so much fun being evil, but i am naturally to nice to be evil the first time through because that is the only time through that i feel truly immersed.
