Which COD should I get?

If you want a barebones multiplayer without too many confusing elements, get CoD4. If you prefer a world war 2 setting, and a weapon set that on average requires a lot more skill (about 2 exceptions) then get WaW. If you prefer a much more balanced multiplayer at the expense of there simply being too much clutter at times, then get MW2.

MW2 is better than CoD4 in pretty much every way.

I like MW2 a lot more than WaW, but I've heard others say MW was actually better than MW2. But I never played MW myself so I wouldn't know about that. It also depends a bit on whether you're interested mainly in the single player or the multi player mode.

Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the CoD style of gameplay. That is, like a chicken running around with its head cutoff, but with a gun. I prefer more Battlefield style games, but if you have to pick one, I agree, CoD2 is by far the best. It refines 1, but doesn't add gimmicky crap like MW, isn't total crap like WaW, and isn't MW2

MW2 for the pc! It has its problems but its fun and we need more players on the pc

Isnt it unsafe on the PC, peopleare getting banned from their internet subscription because when you become host on a server it counts like you own a server and the internet guys doesnt like that, and the fact that theres loads of hackers and you can get trojans from playing it

Of the three recent ones, get CoD4. WaW isn't very good and MW2 is just CoD4 with a worse single player and more annoying multiplayer. Oh, and if you are using a PC, don't buy MW2 whatever you do.

I was thinking about this because I loved the first Bad Company so much, but after a while the multi-player just got old because there were only two game modes.

(Now, I am not one to buy a game for online play, and BC was one of the only games that got me into it. Also, gold rush was on of the most fun things I have ever done while playing online. I just would have liked more game modes.)

I would vote CoD4- Original (as opposed to CoD:WaW) and has dedicated servers if your a Clan-Type person. If clans aren't your thing and you like storylines, CoD6 (Get over it, I'm calling MW2, CoD6 you Fan-Boys).

it's the game that got me into CoD and has some of it's best features all rolled into one game, you'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll shoot some Nazi people in the head, it's all good ^_^
