I use them a lot in everyday language whenever I'm mad at someone/thing or almost tripped over the 13th thing today or scratch myself again and realise that there's a little bit of blood coming out.
As you can see, I'm somewhat unbalanced for some reason. I blame it on teenage angst.
Most of my swears are usually either, shit or crap, because I'm in situations that use them.
You try stopping in the front of your love interest about to hit here but only to avoid her is to fully stop and almost fall front first, my word then was, "CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP".
I don't curse in public, only under my breath to myself, or loudly if I'm alone. If either of those are true, then "fuck" and "shit" are probably the most common.
probably fuck because it can be can be used to add emphasis to just about anything and its extremely easy to change to something else mid go like ffffffffffruitcake or ffffffunions or fffffffffffffflamingo or ffffffantastic if I happen to be in a situation where swearing would be considered taboo like in school.
Goddamit. The ironic part is that that's the curse my mother hates the most.

"Fuck" in English and "Helvete" in Swedish, helvete meaning hell.
Yeah, quite unoriginal.
Example of use: Fucks sake. För i helvete(sort of translated to "for hells sake", so essentially the same thing).
You're from Sweden? What's it like living in a socialist economic system? I'm from America, where we've got capitalism coming out the wazoo, so I'm curious about what its like not living in a capitalist economic system. Also, my political affiliation is Socialist.
Our system is good, from what I've experienced. I've only lived in Sweden so I can't really compare it to anything but, I can bring up some experiences with out health care system:
I am diagnosed with ADD and I get medicine that I take every day to help with my concentration. As soon as I got my diagnosis I also got my prescription to this medicine, I simply go to the drugstore, show ID and pay and I get a bottle that lasts about a month, perhaps a bit more.
The only thing that costs me money is the meds themselves - going on checkups, getting my diagnosis and everything is completely free.
I also recently went to get birth control pills, and since I'm below the age of 21(I just turned 18, today actually) I get them at a HUGE discount. All I did was book a time, go there, tell them why I wanted them and they prescripted them to me, all of that free, except for the pills themselves, but as mentioned, they cost like 4 dollars for three months. Super cheap.
I haven't been in need of any surgery or such though, so I can't tell you much about that.
I have had braces though - dental health care is also free if you're below a certain age. I got my teeth fixed for no money at all.
And if I've understood correctly we get this much free because of the taxes being quite high. As for the economy with the market, stores and prices and whatnot, the most I've personally noticed are the prices for games raising, but that's because they're more expensive to make now which is perfectly understandable.
The price on Coca-Cola though has also been increasing which I don't quite understand. It's only an about 2-8 SEK(0.70-1.20 dollars) increase but it's still annoying.
Sorry if this isn't the information you wanted, I'm quite hungry and distracted. Just ask me if there's anything specific you want to know.
Wow, that sounds really nice. Paying for healthcare is a ***** in America. My braces were about $2000 (13,320 kronor) plus X-rays, molds, and switching orthodontists due to a move. Doctor appointments can vary widely in cost, from free to not covered by insurance at all. It depends heavily on what your insurance plan is and what kind of doctor you want to see. I don't think birth control pills are covered, but since I'm male I don't know. Prescriptions can cost anywhere from a few bucks to about $50 (333 kronor) and that's if insurance covers some of the cost.
We Americans pay the most per capita for healthcare, yet our life expectancy hasn't even hit 80 years yet.
Our politicians don't want a socialized health care system because there's a stigma in America that socialism is inherently horrible. They completely ignore the fact that (according to my Political Science professor) every European nation, plus Canada, has a socialized health care system, and it generally works great; much better than America's at least.
Well, feel free to move here if you want! I sure won't stop you.
And yeah, I've heard about the anti-socialism agenda and I do think it's stupid, at least in the question of health care. No one should have to die because they're not rich enough, eh?
"Fuck". It is beautifully ubiquitous. My runner up is most likely "goddammit", although I'm not sure why, since it's a relatively minor swear, compared to my #1. From there, it's shit, dick, and all the rest of the swears are in some 5% at the low end. Surprisngly, I never seem to use "****".
Yes, I keep track of this sort of thing. It's important.
I don't really curse but when I do it's in Swedish and a wide variety of different curses.
Most common is probably shit and/or skit(meaning exactly the same thing, but in swedish).
Fuck, shit, and damn/goddammit. They all have girth, weight and rhythmic flexibility, so it feels like you're throwing them out of your mouth hard enough to potentially break something, instead of merely making sounds. Adds a lot of necessary catharsis to swearing.
