Which Dead Rising 2 ending did you get on your first playthrough?

Here is how you answer.

It was the first ending you got.
If you restarted your file before beating the game that works.
What did you think of your ending?
What did you think of the game.

I got ending A on my first try

[spoiler/]You defeat Sullivan and call the news reporters to pick you up. Your about to leave with the others when you remember your daughter forgot her backpack. You go back to find it but are attacked by a zombified TK. He drags you into the elevator with other zombies, and you tell Stacy to take care of your daughter. You fling the backpack, and then the doors close. Your fate is left unanswered (until case west)[/spoiler]

I have heard that this is the real ending, because Case West continues from there, and I think it was actually a pretty awesome ending. But it wasn't the best ending (that being ending S, which I got soon after).

EDIT: DARN IT! I forgot to add a poll

So here are the list of endings.

Ending S
Ending A
Ending B
Ending C
Ending D
Ending F
Ending F (overtime mode)

I got the true ending where you save TK only to have him betray you and kidnap your daughter and Stacy and you are forced to give into his demands and fight him on the TiR set
I worked hard to get that ending on my first try.

I want this to be the true ending, but I'm not so sure, because Case West continues from Ending A.

The first time I actually completed the game, I got S, in my first run-through, I got thrown around by the one-track-minded prostitutes and had to restart, getting to them again at a higher rank.

I'm glad A was the "real" ending, because S seemed kindof stupid..
TK somehow kidnaps Katey and Stacey and has Chuck fetch a bunch of crap for him, similar to Isabella's fetch quest in DR 1. Then he sets up a traqp James Bond villians would scoff at, chuck breaks free, and they fight to the death. Chuck wins big. He, katey, and presumed new mommy walk away somewhere, nothing really seems resolved on the whole Zombrex issue. They set it up to look like the drug made those dependant suffer for it, but never came back to it, we were left to guess nothing's changed for Chuck or Katey, that they'll still be working for zombrex for the rest of their days, no real closure, I thought.

Oh, and there's an amusing screamer at the end as if to say "this waz the gud ending, O, and BOO!"

It's wierd, if they planned A being the real one, why bother with S? Just to stick by that old habit of making the sequel as much like the first game as possible?

EDIT:
For those wondering, the one ending (just one luckily, no ambiguity here) to Case West is fighting the big turban guy from Indiana Jones: Temple of Doom (you know, ended up being crushed by that stone wheel?) then getting a speech from a ***** trying a little too hard to be the new Spencer, I think. (head of Umbrella) Turns out there's a cure, but "WEEHEEHEE, WE'RE EVIL!!" Umbrella Corp (dubbed "Phenotrans") is back.

I do see how Overtime 1 and 2 are really alike. Maybe they put S in there just to be like the bonus ending for the fans.

So did you know what happend in ending A before or did I just explain it to you now?

I've seen the endings, (F was something to think about) A works out, but where the hell did Frank come from?

Ha. Ha ha. Good show, that's perhaps better than what we might actually hear in DR 3... on the offchance they choose to explain it, of course.

OH and question! I don't know if you know this, but I got case zero, and I plan to delete it and make room for case west. But would that mess with my save file?

Deleting the file? I'd call shenanigans if it didn't mess with it. I watched Case West on youtube, so I don't know about effecting the main game, sorry.

I don't get your explination! I mean deleting Case Zero, not the actual file in DR2 *which I imported from case zero*

I got S first time, I don't know if I imagined it or not but it seemed much easier to get the correct ending than in the first Dead Rising

Oh and if there's any confusion, S is the correct ending, but ending A allows for Case West to take place.
If you've completed the game with S you probably know it'd be very strange for Chuck to have to clear his name still..

I'm pretty sure that even the people behind DR2 say that Case West doesn't follow on from the "True" ending (I definitely heard that somewhere, possibly Inside Xbox...?) so we can assume that DR:CW isn't canon at all, how disappointing! :p

I'm conflicted with which ending I want to be real. Both endings are awesome!

I got Ending S my first try. Saved 48 people, defeated all the Psychopaths that give you combo cards and reached level 31-ish.

And I think Case West makes sense given the S ending.

When Sullivan takes the evidence, the only logical conclusion is that he loads it into the duffel you see him strap to his shoulder in the ending. When Chuck straps him to the railing via. the handcuffs, Sullivan is ripped in half and dies.

Thing is, the half of him that goes with the plane is the upper half, which includes the duffel of evidence, meaning that even with Sullivan dead, the evidence is no longer in Chuck's hands. And I doubt that word of mouth alone from the prime suspect would be enough evidence to acquit Greene of everything he's been accused of.
