Which Distros

Ok, so I am in need of reformatting a lot of computers. My personal laptop that I use for mobility and repair work, My grandmothers computer, My Aunts computer, My sisters laptop.

I intend to put them all onto Linux. My grandmother and aunt are hardly computer users and what they do consists of web browsing.

I use my laptop for browsing, Video/flash playback IM, ereader, jukebox, Card reader, file transfer storage, diagnostics, etc As much gaming as is possible with 1gb on board video.

My sisters laptop will inherit whatever distro my laptop does.

So I need one incredibly user friendly distro, to which I assume that will fall under mint (Welcome to hear suggestions)

I have used mint and Unbuntu and need accessible but versatile, and interested in seeing more of the linux distros.

So what distros would you suggest for those two scenarios.

Well, I'm a Mint user myself, but I like the way OpenSUSE loo too. I'll probably install it and give it a proper go some time soon. You can also look into Pear OS, which is supposed to be x answer to Apple, so I assume it's even more user friendly.

But for simple stuff, like web browsing, I think pretty much any distro would be good. Just put the web browser on the desktop.
