Which evil is YOUR evil?

Would you be the horrible monster that wants nothing more then the destruction of humanity?
Would you be the the man in the shadows controlling things from the side lines?
Would you be the nice guy with a dark side, who gains peoples trust before using them?

These three. But I'm not sure how. I always would have liked to have The Darkness (from the game of the same name), a Death Note, the same powers as Lucy from Elfen Lied and/or being a contractor from Darker than Black.
I have used the "be the nice guy with a dark side, who gains peoples trust before using them" before multiple times actually.

Definitely shadows. More like the film version of Cobra Commander than Voldemort. I would make it look as though someone completely different is running things while I do everything to make myself stronger by physical training, networking, holocrons, etc. The defacto ruler would be overthrown by an outright puppet Ministry of Magic style and while I would remain in the shadows, all final decisions on the new world order remain with me.

This. Same thing and reason why. Staying in the shadows means that you can be completely obscure and avoid the enemies you will inevitably make.

I've always thought it'd be fun to be all awesome and manipulative, but I'm too nice to actually be like that. Tch.

i would be the one in the shadows controling everything. simply because i would love to be that kind of evil mastermind with some grand scheme to hatch. no one ever suspects you when your in shadows and misleading heros to attacks the wrong people. mwahhh haaa haa haaaa

If by evil you mean Communism, and if by destroying humanity you mean destroying the western world, then I'm probably some mix of all of the options only about thirtyeightthousand times worse..

In other words I reckon I'd make an epic serial killer. They'd NEVER find the bodies... or murder weapon... or even suspect me of any wrongdoing.
