Which game gave you the most playtime of any game you've ever played? (Besides WoW)

I did EVERYTHING in that game. I put so much time into that game, I put in time to stop and smell the flowers.

Do you have any idea how hard that is to do when flowers SPROUT FROM THE EARTH YOU TREAD?! I had to mod the game to allow myself to walk backwards!!!

Hmm, I'm really not sure. I know I clocked 50-60+ hours on Mass Effect, though in comparison to Warcraft 3 or Red Alert 2, it's probably nothing. Heroes of Newerth is coming up close now, seeing as a match takes generally 20-60mins, and I've played over 200 of em, I'm getting close to maybe 100-200 hours.

Persona 3: FES, I'm 14 hours in and I'm only a quarter of the way through. And this is a game which has a time limit and everything you do has to conform to it. So no extra time spent on sidequests.

When I got Pokemon Gold I spent over 150 hours on a single save file. I spent similar time on FFX, trying to take on the Dark Aeons and all the overpowered monsters in the Monster Arena, but even after many hours of grinding, I couldn't beat them all.

I suppose I might as well chime in. I remembered spending a ludicrous amount of time on Halo 2 when it was big. After browsing back through my games played (thanks for keeping track, bungie) I have an estimated 815 hours, if the average length of my games was 7.5 minutes.

I had a few other accounts that had a respectable number of hours played as well, but I really hate doing math at six in the morning.

Actually does it count as gaming when youre watching the cut scenes in metal gear solid? in which case those games have consumed the largest portion of my time, there's got to be at least 1000 hours of cut scenes
