Which games are good buys fotr 360?

I'm getting paid tomorrow, and this paycheck is probably going to be completely for games
What are some good games to buy?
I already have Halo 3, Dead Rising, Dark Sector, John Woo's Stranglehold, Kung Fu Panda and Lego Indiana Jones( they came with the Console -.-')
I prefer RPG's or Shooters, but almost anything that has decent online multiplayer, and a good story will do.

Assassin's Creed would probably be a good addition. I had a lot of fun with that one.

Try the Orange Box. I'm sure you'll like at least one of the five games it comes with.

And also check out Gears of War 2.

Bioshock, Fallout 3, Red Faction: Guerilla, Saint's Row 2, Call of Duty 4, MAYBE the Gears of War Games (they're alright, I guess).

I've played it, and beat it, but I didn't really care for it. They REALLY need to improve the combat system for Assassinn's Creed 2.

Both fallout 3 and bioshock are very good and mix elements of both rpg and fps. You could always buy so MS points there are lot of good games on the XBLA I'm lovin 'splosion man at the moment (platformer) and castle crashers is good fun.

Mass effect or fallout 3, both are fun RPG shooters.

If you don't have Mass effect for the PC i'd get that, it's an RPG full of shooting and has a kickass story

Go with Oblivian a great WRPG or Tales of vesperia if you enjoy JRPGS. Also Portal still alive for first person puzzle fun.

most xbox owners, even if they arent halo fanboys, will need to admit that Halo 3 is an essential to any FPS Xbox library. Also, Bioshock, Assassins Creed, Mass Effect, all great fun and immersing. Thats a good place to start, just find what you like in a game and stick to it.

Fallout 3, maybe Halo 3 and Viva Pinata. Those three in their own ways, are pretty addictingly fun.

it depends of what you like, FPS, the orange box is quite good and comes bundled with amazing portal and awesome team fortres 2

RPG?? well, Mass Efect is kind of a cool one, if you can endure exploring several different planets that look exactly the same over and over again, there is good stuff in that game

and the gods have answered your prayers on the name of Fallout 3, quite a good game if you have never played oblivion (because if you had, you will think it´s the same game but with guns like several people have stated before)

modern warfare haves a cool online mutliplayer if you are in that kind of thing, and the story was quite good too

and i dont care what other people think about, but Gears Of War 2 was a good game to spend time in.

Stay away from Asassins Creed if you dont like loooooong cutscenes of semi sci fi bable, it was good but the story sucked a little and made a mess of itself at the end of the game hehe.

Fable 2 was a rather interesting RPG if you dont mind the fact that you will feel like you have already played that game before (if you like RPG´s that much you will think you have)

Mass Effect and Fallout 3 have already been mentioned, but I will again since you said you liked RPGs and Shooters.

For another Shooter I would recommend Left 4 Dead and RPG I recommend Lost Odyssey.

Edit: Oh, also, Battlefield 1943 from Live Arcade is also pretty fun, but it only has online play, so don't expect single player in that one.

Well, then. That cinches it.

Far Cry 2 if you like sandbox-y shooters, and I would recommend trying the Wanted demo. I tried it a few months ago, and I liked it a lot, but not enough to buy it over Prototype.
